The gameplay trailer for SAINTS ROW™ looks and sounds like The Outer Worlds to me for some reason.
They also tried to add in some Borderlands 3-tier humor to make the game look hip and cool to their fellow gamers, but if I didn’t know any better, it almost sounded like they were mocking the guy with his Mexican accent while really trying to force down the idea that a strong, tomboy black girl is the best option to use for the game.
They’re not too subtle about what they really want for you to do in this game. Even the “M” rating for this seems rather tame, since the only “nudity” you’ll ever see is for how you customize the male characters, and not for the female characters.

Let's be real. The M rating don't mean shitty anymore in this current gaming industry. If you had taken out the blood, this game would've passed as a T rating.

If the goal was to make Luchadores & an alien empire seem less outlandish in comparison, then mission accomplished.

Is Ultor Exposed & Corporate Warfare worth buying? I'm getting close to wrapping up 2, and I want to know if they're good DLC.

I don't look forward to a few years down the line when a bunch of children play the reboot and insist it's underrated and not that bad on its own merits, unfazed that it's an insultingly poor successor to multiple much better games.

I'm amazed they're introducing new gangs this late in the marketing campaign. I felt like 2 street gangs and a paramilitary org was weird, but it makes me feel like these guys are shit if they're only being mentioned now.

New gang introduced is wierd. I'm wondering if they will act more neutral or chaotic good, like the pirates in mercs 2. If not, seems a bit pointless

It's interesting because it seems like the factions list was set. Makes me think they're a late addition or just so bland that they aren't worth highlighting, or like you said they're a non enemy gang.

Given that moron with the bottle of ketchup and the colored tips on the guns, I almost think these dickheads are supposed to be larpers pretending to be raiders or some shit. I honestly wouldn't put it past modern Volition to make a "gang" like that and take it seriously enough to not make them a random event like pirates & ninjas in 2.
Sunset Overdrive had that sort of thing too, only that game was smart enough to make fun of them as a bunch of wackos.

Hate to say it but....product of it's time. That stuff was in vogue big time during the Myspace era from 03-08. All those NME, Pitchfork and Myspace bands.
