Ah, to be a young pingflooder again.
 
The music video for feel good inc. by Gorillaz. Saw that shit on mtv when I was like 8 or 9 and I blasted that song everywhere I went over that summer. I’d say that’s probably the experience that jump-started my love of music.

Also most of the old handheld Nintendo games from the early 2000’s. The first console I got as a kid that I had all to myself was an old game boy color, and I always had a thing for that era of games. The soundtrack for the oracle Zelda games and Wario Land 4 still take me back.

I just remembered that I made a terrible extension to "just another day" with Sony Vegas 14. Here it is, and it also makes me feel nostalgic because it was 2015 when I did it. Jesus, 4 years have passed since then, and I still can't make that goddamn Spyro review. what's wrong with me?

My 'graduation' from public school ended with all of us on the beach drunk in the summer; sun rising at 5-6 am and even the coldest witches going around hugging people. Sunsets fuck me up. They both represent a closing day, which is depressing and can make even the most amazing places in the world seem super shitty, but also a blissful sense of the mundane. Another day, a failed exam won't end your life, you'll find another love, you don't have cancer (yet).

I think we're so accustomed to non-stop action that any moment of complete content and a slow pace of things is enough to make us nostalgic for being a simpleton child.
 
I miss the times from when I didn't see my parents as abusive pieces of shit. Hearing the sound of a PS2 turning on or seeing photos of myself as a 7 year old really makes me miss those times of ignorance. As they say; Ignorance is bliss

Yes, this makes me feel like an old fuck. Especially the PS2 part.

The smell that every small block V8 made before fuel injection and a freshly fueled zippo takes me back to high school
 
As a child I remember always smelling the smell of bleach mixed with water at the daycare center I went to, as it was used as disinfectant.

Now whenever I smell it, thats all I think about.
