RuSneedChat- - Sneedchat CLI written in rust.

Hey Kiwis. I'll keep this short. I made a Sneed Chat CLI that you can use. Just run it from terminal or powershell if in windows. I don't think it'll work in default CMD.
Comes with the source code. It's Rust. No license. No Code of Conduct. No warranty (implied or otherwise). No CLI options. No finagling. Simple.

I want to stress that this is more of a toy than something I want people to use seriously (for now). Please be patient as things break in odd ways.

I still have some minor things I want to add, let me know if there's any features you want.

How do I run this?

Just invoke it from the command line. no args are needed!

Why doesn't remember login work?

The Remember Login button is broke, I'll get to that soon.

The chat scrollbar seems to be behaving oddly

I also know the chat scrollbar can be odd at times, I'm working on that too.

what is "Cookie 'xf_user' not found"?

This means that you entered your password incorrectly.

Very cool. It looks like the chat_screen routine is a little on the big side with it's debugging asserts and the strange hardcoded message populator.
I like the dedication to detail making the ascii logos tho.

Maybe one can fit in a routine to making it dynamically scalable instead, doesn't sound easy however.

can you add random colors to each name, maybe some sort of math that converts usernames into preset colors so its easier to read. Having all green is very hard to read who is saying what.

well i forget if rust has an aalib port but you could store the logo as a monochrome image and just have it convert it on the fly based on the size of the terminal

That's something I didn't consider adding support for, I'll see about getting this going.

I think this should be the same as linux- from the folder that contains the .exe, type in

./sneedchat-client-windows
