Nintendo can't really do anything.

If they keep Bowsette as Bowser with a power-up, Mario fighting him will cause Trannies to REEEEEE over transphobia.
If they change the background to establish a new character with a Bowsette-inspired design, Trannies will REEEE over Tranny-erasure.
Nintendo can't use this design, no matter what they do.
