Oh, i have no problem to believe that, what i don't understand is how the site even retains users nowadays when even the most harmless statement nets you a monthslong ban. Is the Stockholm syndrome so pronounced in the current userbase that they really wait out their ban time and then continue to post? I can't think of a single site were the mod abuse is as bad as on there, surely there must be other online communities were discussing TTRPG shit is at least somewhat fun.

Ever since Save-vs-DM died a few months ago, seems like all the other mods have really cranked up the knee-jerk defensiveness over anything indigenous-related.

Oh yeah, I remember hearing/reading about that Kickstarter a few months ago. Lol, if they're the only native american game design group, then it sounds like the injuns aren't exactly sending their best.
Even with over a million dollars raised, they're still trying to rip people off for more money. (See shit like this is why White Man took your land, buffalo brains.)

RPGNet is to TTRPGs what Resetera is to VGs, yet somehow even more aggressively retarded. The moderators act like they've got a blended mix of the Communist Manifesto and raw soy getting pumped into them via IV at every second of the day, all while slamming their heads into walls as hard as they can to maximize their brain damage. It's just fucking embarrassing to see, but it's hilarious to watch even far-leftist dunces get permabanned there and dropping like flies for not being far-left enough. It doesn't seem like they even discuss games at all anymore, anywhere, unless it's to circlejerk over shit being "problematic".

Absolutely not. Some of the individual members are fairly plugged in to internet happenings but the forum as a whole is about as aware as CNN or MSNBC.
