Do you suppose the RPG.net moderators have any idea how ridiculous they look?
I dunno, maybe they've been playing fantasy games so long they think witch trials are a legitimate method of dispensing justice.

Yeah it's pretty clear that he's arguing in bad faith trying to start trouble. I don't know why forums tolerate people like this. On most 00s era forums he would be banned for trolling.Matt Ceb is a well known forum provocateur. Like a lot of other RPGNetters, he likes baiting people into getting banned. He is also Antifa (the original German one, not the US offshoot).

He's been posting on rpg.net for fifteen years now, he knows exactly how close to the wind he can sail regarding the forum rules and not get banned.Yeah it's pretty clear that he's arguing in bad faith trying to start trouble. He also tried to turn the mob on Papers Please because at one point one of the suggested random genned names for people in line sent in during the Kickstarter was Anita Sarkeesian, and when he was playing, it got attached to a prostitute. Literally tweeted at the dev something like “was this an accident, or are you a complete shitbag?”Matt Ceb is a well known forum provocateur. Well no, they're autists. Absolute lack of self-awareness is a key symptom of the sped spectrum.Do you suppose the RPG.net moderators have any idea how ridiculous they look?
More people getting the banhammer for not being sufficiently opposed to orcs = shorthand for black people. or just for making the hugbox less huggy.
Maybe we should point Tanka to The Big Book of Irony.

You ever get the sense that no one on RPG.net, especially the mods, actually has any fun with the games they're supposedly they're to geek out over?
That's pretty optimistic, assuming they play at all. I know at least one mod who has openly boasted he doesn't play anymore.
Reminds me of... oh, what was his name. Old something. His sig was “Not gaming is better than bad gaming.” I think it’s true of forums as well. Certainly a lot of the people I enjoyed talking to there seem to have come to a similar conclusion. That's pretty optimistic, assuming they play at all.
