Kurtzman's contract is up in 2026, so we'll see then. Paramount just announced they have no interest in the Kelvin films and want to go in "Another Direction" with the films. So, they just cut one tie from the JJ/Kurtzman Era.
Paramount does make two of the few current shows I watch Tulsa King and the Mayor of Kingston.

I watched some episodes from S1 and while it was a bit silly, you could see that not only the people there really loved HP, they were quite talented.
Consider that they're doing these in a hurry, and they still look impressive.

I think this highlights another reason the troons can’t win. Harry Potter is this world of fun and whimsy that’s full of colourful concepts and places to explore. What the troons are basically doing is saying, “No, you can’t have that. You are a Nazi for enjoying this fun thing.” No one likes a party pooper.
I feel like I’m harping on about this, but it really is a key flaw in the troon strategy, and just wokescolding in general. They try to take away, but they don’t give.

SF and classical Fantasy have this in common: you can make everything you want with the excuse of technology or magic. Flying futuristic space trains with big pew pew canons, goldens dragons firing magic laser beams, muscular astronauts fighting techno-aliens and funny wizard casting "infinite beer of the restless soul" at your wedding, etc etc
That's why it's still widely popular, cause it's fun.

Not only do troons scold you for enjoying something, they also demand to get their shit shoved into everything. Scifi setting in which someone could shove their brain into a new body, or there is magic that changes you on a cellular level? Well, you NEED someone to talk about how they were born a man but decided to take on a female body because they always felt this way. They're insufferable.
Even IF you try to pander to them, it is not enough. Abby from TLOU2 was made more masculine to appeal to troons, but they hate it because she's too mannish. The harry potter game had a troon, but that was not good enough for them either. CP77 lets you use a female voice with the male body, or vice versa. Again, not good enough.
It is the same old "we just want to be left alone" with "No, we NEED to be included and be insufferable the whole way through". Who would want to entertain such rotten people?

OTOH, there is a group of people who are such hopeless consoomers that even when they believe JKR wants to murder troons, they would rather cover their eyes and ears and keep enjoying HP.

And unlike Rowling, where people desperately search for reasons within HP to cancel her (Cho Chang’s name, and the goblins being anti semitic), Gaiman actually has written shit like Snow, Glass, Apples, where a CHILD Snow White is a vampire seduces a man and is depicted NUDE repeatedly in the graphic novel adaptation. And this was side-eyed even before he was outed as a sex pest, and yet his career continues to survive relatively unscathed. You’ll never convince me that the backlash against Rowling isn’t just a bunch of nerds being big mad that Mummy refuses to cuddle them anymore.

Queer commie loser who has been working on two novels for 25 years (!) and has not published anything thinks he/she is better than famous writers, including JKR. 
Also it begs for money, because of course. I don't think the novels are going to be as sucessful as this delusional idiot thinks. There aren't many people who want to read queer commie garbage.
By the way it took Tolkien 17 years to write all 3 LOTR books because he was a perfectionist and this lazy alphabet Gremlin has not a single novel finished after 25 years and still thinks it's a better writer than the man who influenced fantasy like no other person.
