It's been a while, but IIRC his farewell message was the kind of bloviating nonsense you'd expect - "thanks to all my friends (not Joel) who helped make the company what it was (except Joel). I'm off to greener pastures with the woman I left my wife for. Lots of love and best of luck in your endeavors (fuck Joel lol)." He namedropped his friends who were stuck holding the bag and left other people's names (Joel and Kathleen) conspicuously unsaid, just completely memory-holing them. And afaik he's kept his head down since then.
