One of the current owners of Forsaken "Basil" used to be an admin for this game, you can join their discord server and see that the rules channel was written by the same discord account. I looked at their profile and it appears that they have a school shooter game favorited along side Forsaken.

Nothing really new unfortunately, Roblox makes baffling decisions all the time that they can only get away with because the platform is super dominant and effectively has a monopoly in its own genre. Leadership is negligent, moderators have a bad reputation for safety, the people who work on the engine at least competent and the company effectively these days outsources the important moneymaking part to the player base while they just provide the infrastructure.

As a third worlder I can sadly second that indeed most kids nowadays play Roblox or at least are fully aware of the game, I don't really know when or how it happened but it suddenly became super popular a couple of years later and at this point it's completely established, which is funny taking into account that when I first found about the game and got into it when I was young (around 10+ years ago) no one else knew it, of anything I introduced the game to a couple of my friends.
Now, how did it suddenly become so popular and a game everyone knows ? I would argue smartphones and YouTubers, the reality is that most people from my generation didn't use the net all that much when they were kids (I was the weirdo in that regard), it wasn't particularly massified and most at best had some old family computer, not only that but there as pretty much no information of the game in other languages, therefore it remained obscure, but now with the introduction of cheap smartphones and extremely cheap access to the internet anyone and everyone is online, this include kids, so these kids go to the play store and see the game front and center, or maybe instead they see it on YouTube as the slope makers are grinding Roblox hard everyday.
