Duane Roberts, inventor of the Frozen Burrito, died at the age of 88.
I used to buy packages of these fairly regularly, but haven't had any in years; I consider them something of a luxury food when times are tough.

But, I'm not even when I say that I was grocery shopping today, walked by the frozen burritos, saw they were on sale, and grabbed a package of eight.

For a moment, I stood there thinking about how unhealthy they are and how I can't really cook them well (ie - nuclear on the outside, frozen on the inside, ice cream, ice cream, i-ice cream paint job) without a bit of effort.

So, I put them back. No burritos for this hombrè.

tl;dr - I probably killed D. Roberts by not hopping back on the burrito bandwagon.

Damn, I sometimes have one for breakfast and as a second lunch during long shifts. Why are they so addictive when they aren't even THAT great??

Jim Robinson, creator of FreeRepublic has died. Old school conservative website that used to have some clout, but he pretty much drove it into the ground over time with purges.

Always used to call this guy JimRob or RimJob. Still, his site gave me years of entertainment, although perhaps not in the way he intended. RIP in power, RimJob.
