Uecker really had a dry, deadpan wit, and it was fascinating watching him being interviewed on venues like the Tonight Show with Carson, it's fascinating to watch two people on a late night talk show just have conversations without having to be over the top and ZANY like they have to be on modern late night shows.

Damn. I liked his solo work, 20th Century in particular. But that's probably because Cautionary Warning was the opening of The Legend of Black Heaven. No matter how many times I hear it, I can't get sick of it.

I attended an anime convention years ago which the folks that licensed the music for the anime had a panel. I jokingly asked why John Sykes wasn't the hero and they jokingly responded he was on tour. They had and laugh when I suggested if The Legend Of Black Heaven used Limp Bizkit music. RIP. Your music saved the galaxy.
 
I've never taken in interest in them, but I really got into Robbie Robertson in very recent years, so reading about Garth Hudson, the last surviving bandmate of The Band croaking it 4 days ago, bummed me out quite a bit.
 
I made friends with a co-worker who is a mentor and shared a lot of interests with me in video games, and I remembered our conversations regarding Elden Ring fondly. For a year, the company allowed him to work remotely to take care of his wife who was gravely ill.

Recently, his wife passed away from cancer. I just donated to a fund to help him deal with the situation away from work. My prayers go out to him, his children, and his family.
