I played Max Payne so many times throughout my life and James’ voice was a gift throughout the series. In fact, I was going to update this thread with other deaths that happened, but this one was a legitimate shock.
I’m not sure what else to post on here except that this is a tragic loss. It even sucks that we have no real cure for cancer yet. Either way, I‘ll have to find some way to finish the third Max Payne.

I know that Max Payne 3 is a game that is.... people have a lot of opinon about, but it is still a good game with a killer OST.
It mayor fault was not being as good as the first two.
The game is pretty cheep on twitter and I find the ending with Max to be a good sendoff.
Without James, we would not have Max.
RIP you fuckng legend.

I don't like this revelation at all. Max Payne was one of the first games I really connected with. The writing, atmosphere, the melodrama, all of it bolstered by McCaffrey. He's remained one of my favourites since then. Really unfortunate.

Ian Punnett, longtime guest host of late night paranormal talk show Coast to Coast AM, has passed away following a brief illness.
I never listened to Ian's shows, but he was known for being Art Bell's preferred successor. RIP.

I really wouldn't be so hasty with the judgement of her... she was out of the band before ol' pigface was hired to replace her. And by most all accounts, It wasn't exactly her idea, either.
“It can’t really be characterized as a resignation,” she told the newspaper. “There are three Dixie Chicks, and I’m only one.” Noting that she was 37 at the time, whereas the two sisters in the group were 23 and 25, Lynch wryly noted, “The group’s called the Dixie Chicks… When I was out there on the road having a bad day, it was awfully hard to be a Chick.” She added, “I have a 14-year-old daughter, and I’m looking forward to spending more time with her.”
As a side note, she was killed in a head-on wreck in West Texas, and days later still no word on who the other driver was, so probably an illegal.

I went right off him after hearing a couple of stories from someone who used to work with them BITD. Proper wrongun (not *that* kind of wrongun...drug related so very much in keeping with his whole schtick.) It was a bit tricky for me to separate the man from the music afterwards.
If there is an afterlife, he'll have to do some bowing and scraping before he gets his hands on a harp.
