I was going to post on the [adult swim] thread about this, but this is reminiscent of the time Dan Harmon was “fired” from the last season of Community and was replaced by one of the staff writers. It still will have Justin’s credits on here, but the animated program will be a lot different without his touch.
Of course, no one really likes the later seasons of the cartoon, but it does not change the fact that R&M will only survive through Dan’s work on being much less of a sex less than Justin, but still a sex pest. It’s a funny, though insane thing to think about.

It would be hilarious if the show got better without Roiland. Here we all thought it was wokeness and Dan Harmon was the reason for the decline. I don't think it will actually get better and I'm sure Adult Swim is bracing for more revelations to come out but it is funny to think it might get better. There's going to be a ton of morbid curiosity viewers on the first episode of the new season.

Roiland is still going to get paid residuals for his creation. They can't legally take away what he's contracted for. If the corporation was really so concerned, they'd cancel his shows. But their profits are the bottoms line. But the performative wokeness works I guess, and all the soy fanboys can watch their little cartoon show guilt free now that Roiland has been excommunicated.
