So he was a momma's boy to the end. The mom informed the dad which is why he was at the scene. Presumably she couldn't be the one to go.
The only thing I could think of is that since a psychiatrist is a real doctor, if you have a more serious issue at hand they will definitely send you to the hospital. No point in seeing a psych if they think you'll drop dead of a heart attack an hour later. His blood pressure could have been bad enough the doc wanted him checked out immediately. Either that or the doc refused to see Rich for some other reason and he lied to his dad on the way back. Some psychs make a point to refuse to help abusers because they will use therapy speak and knowledge to be more effective against their future victims.

Sorry give me all the hats you want, I've dealt with this sniveling cowardly shit before and it just pisses me off anytime I see it. Fun fact: Cops don't clean up murders/suicides/unattended deaths. You either pay some poor cheap bastards from some agency who specialize in it to come be traumatized on your behalf (who again aren't paid NEARLY enough), or you band together as family/community and do the grim work yourself and save a buck. Cops/EMS just take the body, that's it. The rest is up to you.
Cleaning reeking week old brains and hair and gore off shower tile while a justifiably hysterical parent of a suicide wailed her soul out a few rooms over but unsilenced by the various walls (and was honestly never the same/right again up until the day she died of old age) severely blackpilled me on having ANY pity for suicides.
At least he had the decency to shower pop to make cleanup vaguely easier. That's a classic "they've been doing research/this wasn't spur of the moment" shit right there. Ask anyone who does crime scene/unattended death/suicide/hoarder cleanup (since they often do all of that as a package deal) and they'll clue you in that the 2 main angles of the gig are biohazard cleanup with special chemicals, and the rest is basically contractor carpentry work. A lot of it is ripping up carpet/cutting out floorboards/cutting into walls to get all the seepage.

The problem with cashing out is that Lowtax was an addict. Any cash he'd have gained would have been burned through unless there was enough consumption-to-excess he'd have killed himself before it coudl reun out.
SA made well stupid ammounts of money during its run. If Lowtax hadn't been a complete lazy retard, he could have made double that easy. Now a good chunk of that would be hosting costs, taxes, and other business expenses, but its safe to say that over 20 years Lowtax grasshoppered his way through 10 million dollars on the low end.
It all vanished in living a nigger-rich lifestyle of pills, mail order pies, trips to sniff feet, GTR leases and getting scammed by Radium & Zen Death Robot.

On Topic: Consider this damning with the finest praise possible, but I appreciate Lowtax feeding his pet and warning his family not to enter the house and find his body.
It's literally the least he could do, given the circumstances, but I wouldn't put it past such a mean-spirited asshole to detonate a suicide vest on his parents lawn during a barbecue to absolutely maximize the trauma on his way out the door. I'm just glad he didn't pull a Benoit.

Some people saw it as possibly a factor, everyone know the main reason but killing yourself over lawsuits and chronic pain is easier to swallow than just selfishly killing yourself entirely over baby mama drama. It was basically just the most charitable people trying to cut him the smallest bit of slack to not remember him as a total piece of shit.
As far as I know he has no real assets except his house?, he intentionally squandered everything else to fuck over his ex-wife after a lifetime of squandering his money before that. He had nothing left, he had already been forced to sell somethingawful because his whole website hated him, he wasn't capable of getting a real job after 20 years of doing nothing except abusing opioids, certainly nothing that would provide the lifestyle he expected to live. He stuck his dick everywhere he could and he reaped the consequences of doing so multiple times, all while he acted as an absentee father to his only real asset, somethingawful, much like his real children. He was incapable of being happy with what he had until he had nothing left, and then he chose the coward's way out.

I don’t even know much about lowtax, or care, but to see someone say “I know it is fucked up I am putting you through this pain, but sorry, love you. The only reason he was even in the situation he used as an excuse to an hero was that he had spitefully squandered the marital estate specifically to fuck his exes and kids out of their share.
