It's both, especially if you've never even lived in your "home country". You have (french/irish/spanish/german) heritage, you're not of those nationalities. It's not our fault you don't know the difference, dude.

White pride is obviously a thing, though. Even if you accept it's racist, it still clearly exists.
 
I know exactly what you mean. Every June, we hear so much about "Pride Month" this, "Pride Month" that. Since the left seems so crazy about it, a few years ago, I tried extending an olive branch to the liberals in the name of coexistence by taking them up on celebrating my pride as a white person. I put on my finest pointy white robes as my fathers before me and went to what was called a "Pride Parade", clearly intended to be a celebration of all heritages. I don't know what country the Rainbow Flag is from, but I assume it's somewhere warm and south of the equator, as their clothing didn't leave much to the imagination. Lots of what looked to be small red apples in their mouths, as well. There was another teal and turquoise flag of some kind, and I didn't see the flag from any country in the Olympics this year, but wow if they don't have the ugliest women this side of Greece. I'm not really one to question other cultures, but there seemed to be a lot of same sex handholding, so I assume that's some kind of a religious ritual.

The Rainbow People did nothing but lisp incredibly hurtful things to me and try to take my pointy hat that my mom sewed herself and my wife has patched up for years now. They threw their traditional primitive weapons at me (must have discovered rubber long before the rest of the world), which didn't do much damage, but their intent was clear. When it came time for my traditional cross burning to celebrate my heritage, I was arrested for something called a "hate crime". For celebrating my pride as a white person at a fucking pride parade! What a world!

I didn't see even a single other white person celebrating their heritage that day, nor anybody from another country, and I can see why. The fucking Rainbow People and Pink-Teals probably would have done the same to British or Mexicans celebrating their heritage, too. Fucking double standards.

The disingenuous left says there is no white pride... because they were the ones who invented "white" as an all-encompassing race. They adopted the broad categories--white, black, Latino, Asian (lol), indigenous--for crass political reasons.

Each of those broad races has dozens of smaller, distinct, very proud ethnicities who do have pride in their ethnic background. But for the left to categorize them into political movements, they must destroy distinctions and treat them as a class. Whether for voting or for guilt, they insist members be loyal to the class instead of their traditional, proud heritage. Uniqueness is a threat, and can only be allowed as window dressing on top of solid class loyalty.

If you went back and asked a 1920's KKK member if he had "white pride", he might say yes. But he also hated Catholics, Yankees, and probably the Irish and Polish too. He didn't have the kind of class consciousness implied by modern racial divisions. He was celebrating something narrow, the white European-to-Southerner culture, something uniquely American in its transformation.

Speaking of double standards, it's bugs me to see libtards criticize Europoors and their descendants abroad but then praise other cultures for doing the same thing.

If I was in Ireland and saw the Irish people celebrating their heritage and culture, I'd consider it an expression of their indigenous pride. But if you ask libtards, the only "indigenous pride" is feather Indians screeching in their tents. "Colonizers" cannot be "indigenous" (they can) and Westerners expressing overt pride in their people is "dangerous" "and nativist".

The racist liberals thrive on an "us vs them" mentality (though so many "POC" despise being lumped together). That's why certain ethnicities/races can have their "pride" but others can't. It's also why generalizing "them" (crackers) is allowed but we must acknowledge how "diverse and different" POC are. In actuality, the same racist liberals who claim to have an "open" and "decolonized" mind also depend on class division to uphold their agenda. They also must impose their beliefs on others, while they claim to respect all viewpoints.

"White pride", "black pride", or "brown/yellow/red pride" (in PC terms: white, black, Latino, Asian or Pacific, Amerindian, etc) exists but it's also disingenuous. In reality, every group classified as a "race" has (as mentioned) many distinct ethnic groups who each have their own sense of pride and community. The Welsh don't think they're the same as a Finn. Tell an Indian that they're the same as a Paki and the former would be ballistic. Or see tensions between Japan and China or the Colombians and Venezuelans. Accepting this would mean libtards have to remember more categories to link oppression and inequlity too.

Crackers can't claim their native heritage or being a "minority" since those two terms are associated with oppression and marginalization. Acknowleding actual diversity among humans would mean liberals have to accept that they have very racist/narrow-minded views of people.

The euro is right, you aren't a real german. The leftard is wrong, as you aren't a real irish, you can't really embrace that. You can only embrace your own 56% kind. You can call it white, but you need to aknowledge you are on the bottom tier of whiteness. Unless you are mixed with negro or feather or wetback, in that case see the one drop rule.

It is neither. If you are proud of being white, there is no such thing as white people, only French/German/Polish/etc. If you are proud of being German, you're not actually German, lol, you don't speak German.

The definitions of terms will change every five minutes if necessary to deny you the ability to say you belong to a group and exhibit any pride in it.

Every European national identity is an amalgamation of tribes formed by conquest and smaller migrations; there were no "English" or "Italians" in 200 AD. We had a stronger sense of ethnic identity in 1890 than today. It doesn't take too long for people in a place to form a tribal or national identity.

The crux of the issue is Jews came up with this idea of a "melting pot" and "proposition nation" in the 20th century, and it appealed to people for whom it seemed to be the answer to the cruelty of slavery and the inability to figure out how to deal with the negro population. It also seemed to explain why we didn't suffer from the warmongering barbarism of Europe, which was continually at war until 1945.

Unless an American is at maximum third generation immigrant then he is basically a mutt larping as "White'. The whole white/black pride movements are basically differently tanned mutts being assblasted on perceived historical grievances. Euros themselves have national, historical and cultural pride and you can distinguish their country from their looks, so the white moniker is pretty disrespectful to them as it is very reductive.

The true double standard is Americans liking to tout how unique they are and then putting the rest of the world in a box to pull out when someone challenges that notion.

There was a fair bit of migration where Celts arrived and settled on the northern part of the Iberian peninsula (iirc fleeing English troops and seeking refuge in another Catholic country). Even now most people in that region are descendants of the Celts, and are actually white, the indigenous Mediterranean peoples didn't even mix with them that much. I don't know if you consider Mediterranean/Iberians white, or if you're just referring to how in the south and east regions, nearly everyone has some Moorish ancestry due to the occupation. The only area the Moors didn't get to was where the white Celt-descended communities were, and after living there for 1600 years I think they can call themselves Spanish if they want.

I like to read about how we are adding to our understanding of history by tracing migration patterns with genealogical DNA tests and dissecting results in autistic detail. It seems like the only place to find productive discussions and solid information about genetic haplotypes and tracing the existence of various distinct white ethnic groups (past and present) is on fucking Stormfront. Modern anthropologists like to point out "race doesn't exist" yet lump whites together just to shit on them. Retarded double standard indeed.

American exceptionalism is baked into our culture, almost. If you try to point out that America's glory days have passed or criticize us for "spreading democracy" at gunpoint to people in foreign nations who don't want it, a few of us will just drown you out loudly chanting USA! USA! USA! USA! until you give up.

(tbh I'd take the people who are actually like that any day over the self-flagellating whites who complain about hating America constantly but never actually relocate to somewhere else.)
 
The US has tons of regional cultures that are both distinct from the national melting pot, almost exclusively White (go to Utah or West Virginia or somewhere) and defined by a single main immigrant group (British/Germans/British and Germans). Americans are just also indoctrinated, in most places, to subordinate that to multiculturalism and the national identity. Most of them are White in nearly their entirety. It's the fault of the media, education system and people's own communities if they don't know or care about that stuff.

My region was, until modern internal migration, essentially the same root British culture that it had always been since the days they first got off the ships.

There is a world outside of New York City and Los Angeles.
