7: Fun game, even with the quality dropping towards the back half. The change to first person did make the game a bit scarier to me. The Baker house was far and away the best part of the game, and Jack was a good stalker. The Chris DLC was pretty meh (excpet for getting to kill Lucas), but the Joe DLC was really fun. Punching the molded to death never really got old.
8: If 7 was trying to be first person RE1, Villiage was trying to be first person RE 4. The story wasn't great, but not bad enough to be annoying. They do a bit too much of just telling you where to go though. Notably right after the castle, there was a note mentioning taking some object to the house with the red chimney. Immediatly after this, the Duke tells you the same thing. As someone who didn't pay too close attention to the pre-release marketing, I was surprised and just how little of the game Lady Dimitrescu was in the game. House Beneviento was scary, though I see how it would drag down any replays. The DLC was fine? I have no strong feelings about it.
9: I had fun playing this one, even if the story was dogshit. I liked Victor Gideon as a villian, but he was sorely under utilized, especially in the back half where knockoff Wesker takes over. As mentioned earlier the the thread, returning to Raccoon City was completely retarded. The Grace sections outside of the Care Center weren't great. Marie was way too scripted (I know the other stalkers were all sort of scripted too, but they hid it way better).
Guess I'll rank the games sorted into 3 categories.
Classic: 2>3>1>CV>0
Third Person Action: 4>5>6
First Person: 7>8>9

After Capcom used him yet again to advertise Pragmata, it's been brought to people's attention that they also used gross tranny SphereHunter at the end of the Steam trailer for the port of the original Resident Evil.
Unpopular opinion but if most of the action shit Leon does in R.C were in, say, RE6, those segments would be laughed out of the room for not being "Resident Evil".

Which is confusing because, from what I can gather from this already pretty confusing disease, this syndrome only happens if you have the T-Virus within you (gonna assume that any vaccines only kills enough of the virus so it is not an immediate threat anymore) for almost 2 decades (and somehow this wasnt detected at all in said time period). So that means Zeno has been around for 2 decades? Which means that, assuming the clone shit is legit, he existed at the same time Wesker was alive which sounds weird that, with all his sources, Wesker never learned of Zeno, unless there is some retcon that he was and just was ok with it for...reasons...but then again, he also had a son when he intended on being an immortal god so who knows.

I thought Netflix RE for all the shit people gave it, was very interesting for actually answering that question. The raccoon incident happened to some extent, they just were able to properly contain it. Although in the long run umbrellas shitty workplace OSHA program would likely doom large parts of the world.

Instead of a boring shooting minigame, can we please get a proper arranged mode or even an official randomiser? When I started Insanity I was excited that they'd moved some items around, but it was the bare minimum. Very disappointing.
