I totally get that. Him having half his face blown off is a nice touch but it's bogged down with his stupid flaccid arm. I like the idea of an imperfect monster in the series. I can think of Proto Tyrant being busted, having an exposed spinal column and twitching. Those little additions make it infinitely more cool than T-002 imo but that's not to say I don't love T-002 too, especially it's super form on the heliport. Nemesis kinda falls into that too since he has one eye. But he has one eye since they based him on Sagat. Then Nemesis gets so fucked up his head literally falls off and he just turns into a bigger form of the parasite that was controlling his brain.
The thing that bugged me with remake X was all the Tyrants had a limiter that would keep them from mutating, but it was disengage and they would have some type of transformation. T-002 turned more red (I assume from it's two hearts, one in and one out, both going into overdrive) and he became more aggressive. Mr. X in the original turns into a two clawed T-002 basically. But in the remake he gets a crab arm. It's just a very meh change and not dramatic enough for what's been established. But then you get the reverse with Nosesis turning into a dog that doesn't even fit with his own lore.
