 What makes you say this?
The discoverability was better, after the initial change. The site isn’t used to it yet, though it hasn’t even been a week since the change. For what it’s worth, it seemed like a positive change that helped with making sub forums less like specific ghettos. I’ve seen more people in various threads already, due to the change. I understand why some people want it separate again, but it seems like it never got a chance to work itself out.

I posted this somewhere else but I think it would be good to have some of these threads split into two, one main forum thread and one that's read only for most users and gets updated with actual info as it comes out. With how long some of the threads on here are it's basically impossible to actually use the site as a resource as for some topics/subjects you have to sift through thousands of pages over five or more years to find the most notable events.

Also don't know if it's a thing but I can't figure out how to mute reactions to my posts, not sure if that's a thing but it should be. Posted in what I guess is a popular thread and my entire inbox is just the same three reactions to it for days.

Like a wiki thing where trusted users can post and edit articles about people or events, linking back to relevant forum posts? I think that would actually be pretty decent.

Thanks for bringing back the Community Watch subforums. Sometimes I like watching the animals in nature, but sometimes I just wanna visit the zoo.

I'm still fairly new to the forum so I apologize if this is already something that exists or if its too difficult to implement, but is there a way to have a "recommended threads/lowcows" feature?

I'll also be completely transparent. I'm trying to find someone to replace Cobes, but I simply can't and going through threads by hand is tiresome.

Maybe a "people who like this thread also like..." type of thing?

For a while there was the Lolcow Wiki which is notable for being one of the only trustworthy contemporary sources about gamergate. IIRC one of the big reasons Josh eventually wanted to do a software rewrite was to make it so the thread OPs are a wiki article which would be extremely useful.

Yeah, I think this is supposed to be what the postmark system is but I don't really get how that's supposed to work. Even just making postmarked posts more visible within a thread or viewable as a list outside of it would probably solve what I'm talking about. This is probably already a thing and I'm just retarded though.

1. click +Quote of post you want to quote OR highlight the text of the post you want to quote and click the +Quote in the dialog that pops up
2. click in your post where you want to insert the quote
3. click the Insert quotes... button at the bottom of the post editing window, next to the Attach files button
4. click Quote messages button in the dialog
Yes, I understand how that process works, but I don't see it if I'm editing a post that's already been made and I want to toss a quote in, only for new posts.

Again, I could be fully retarded, but I'm not seeing an option for when I go to edit a post.

Wasn't sure whether to put this here or in the sneedchat complaint thread, but there may be an issue with chats in user history. Chat posts don't show up under postings, but they still take up a search slot. Users who chat a lot will have fewer pages before you have to click view older results. So if some chatterbox makes 10 pages of chats without making a post it might break something.

my bad, i misunderstood because of poor reading comprehension on my part

i don't see any way to get the +Quote or Reply buttons to add text to the edit post box, only the new post box. you can +Quote or Reply and then copy the quote text from the new post box into the edit post box as a workaround, but your suggestion does seem like a good idea

Remove 'disruptive guest' pink triangles or replace it with something more islamic/indian.
Rationale: it stopped fulfilling it purpose, retards now view it as badges of honor or some other autistic shit.
