The milk of the cows flows gently.
Here you harvest your crops on religion and morals. "America First" is full of homosexuals. Everything is retarded. God blesses this shit. Blessed be the Autists. Blessed be the Kiwis.

(I was going to do something more autistic than this illuminated manuscript but gave up)

It is no secret that Nick is a hypocritical individual by the standards of even those who are not religious in the slightest. He manages to offend everyone with his blasphemy and strange interpretations of what the written book he follows says.

He has quoted many times the only superior and inferior Christians view are that of angels and holy beings. Thus all men are created equal and he does not view black people as inferior or "bad" despite the crime statistics as he does not measure said asocial acts in terms of wether someone is or is not better. This is somewhat contradictory to his views of women who he has stated before are inferior intellectually and views their value only within reproduction.

His views of morality on certain topics are also often conflicting or lies of omission. Such notable omissions would be condemning the Sodomite for ANAL SEX but admitting men can love one another and hinting that perhaps other forms of homosexual acts that are not ANAL SEX might be fine. I am not going to pretend I know enough to say wether or not the book says this, but it is up for debate.

Pls post your autistic spergs, pages of religious drivel, and moralfag to your hearts content.

If his position is that asexual homoromantic attraction is OK, he's actually wrong on that by early Christian patristic standards. The Fathers saw the marital relationship as a prefiguration of man's union with God in the eschaton, and the bringing forth of children as a prefiguration of the immortality that union with God produces (family rearing being the closest thing to immortality that we have in this world). Basically in the same way that the temple sacrifices were seen as an Old Testament prefiguration of the Eucharist, marriage was seen as an Old Testament prefiguration of monasticism and ultimately theosis. St. Paul makes it clear in his first Epistle to the Corinthians that marriage is mostly still allowed these days because not everyone has the self-restraint to handle celibacy. Because it's a prefiguration of the union with God, marriage isn't evil. I've attached Fr. Josiah Trenham's PhD thesis on the subject for anyone interested, which is it's own book now.

This attitude is a big part of why stuff like contraception isn't allowed, as by removing the potential for child-rearing they're actively violating the typology. Since marriage was basically humanity's training wheels for their relationship with God, messing with the training wheels is going to screw up the real deal. It's a lot like having a bad relationship with your father and how that effects your relationship with God. I forget which one but there was at least one saint who said that the problem with Sodom was that they had "devised a barren intercourse", rather than homosexuality explicitly. There's no context where the desire for an intimate union of being with another man (which is what romantic attraction is, sexually or otherwise) would be acceptable, since it's still a union that doesn't have the potential to produce life. It'd be a union destined to death.

It's a very different form of intimacy than friendship, which is a bond based on mutual cooperation towards a common goal rather than desire for inter-communion of being.

I didn't see the show but if he's trying to justify homoromantic attraction I wouldn't be surprised, since Catholics have a tendency to try and explain all morality through Thomistic natural law arguments and wind up with a bunch of incomprehensible autism.

Marriage and reproduction reflect the divine unity of the beatific vision but they do not exist solely or primarily as preparation for it. It seems like you drew that terminology from Augustine but he saw it at most as typology because both are forms of friendship. The rearing of children does not correspond to immortality either.

I take it you're an online ortho since you're dropping 200 page dissertations from Fr. Josiah that you haven't fully or carefully read so take it easy on counter-signaling Aquinas, especially if you don't know what you're talking about.

Adoption is a good thing, but it doesn't solve the issue that we're talking about which is mortality, and especially mortality in the context of romance. Functionally cucking your partner by having someone else's child doesn't cement your bond with your partner, it cements you with some other guy. Obviously you need to actually raise your child, but there's also a human psychological and spiritual need to overcome death. Homosexuality and other barren ways of living actively cultivate an unhealthy attitude towards death where it's at best something to ignore and be distracted from. At worst you get bugchasing death fetishism stuff or people trying to take advantage of that anxiety to sell you on transhumanism or whatever garbage. Having kids obviously isn't a perfect solution, but it's the only secular one that people realistically have.

Also I'm not going to argue that Roman Catholicism is a good model for raising non-homosexuals. They do better than many groups in one sense, if only for the fact that they're decently consistent when it comes to thinking up justifications for their positions that an intellectually honest person could find convincing (whether or not they're actually correct being another question). The problem is that they're unintuitive philosophical constructs that don't have the power to touch or often even really describe what's going on inside a person.

But this is veering off of the original subject of making kissy faces with dudes (with the tongue) probably not being OK with the Apostles.

Here be autism worth discussion

The current far-right fad of tradcath LARPing is really embarassing, but holy shit does Catboi take it to the cringe epicenter. It's bad enough that all these alt-right incel losers brag about reading the bible in between their porn-doused wank sessions, but the literal faggotry is next level.

Sweet, I didn't know this thread existed. I will accept the mantle of autism
Unironically made it just for you LOL. I don't mind your autistic ramblings and DO read them... but they need a containment zone because you're very powerful. I empathize thought and even if I disagree with you on things I appreciate your autism and research methodology to support your beliefs.

I think jumping on a religion for clout is the most retarded reason to join a religion. Following Nickleback to jump on the Catholic train is dumb. I respect Jaden for never giving up his prostate protestantism despite the internal pressures of his environment.

I really haven't heard Nick say anything catholic spergging wise that I, a person who is not even a christian, do not know. Certain things like bible stories are naturally inundated in western culture and history thus get referenced and used as allegories regardless of if you follow them or not. The same can be said for basics of christian morality. There is societal shame around things that don't exist in my other culture (gayness being one of them). Other things like mensturation, sex, nudity, purpose in life, children, virginity, etc. Are viewed differently in the Anglosphere. I find his assertions of "going back to christian America" kind of misguided because Christianity (specifically the tards who were so insufferable the Br*tish didn't even want them) is already the founding religion for our society. Despite the REEEE-ing all sects of Christians do amongst one another, you're all Christian and thus almost all of the values transfer over.

While your average normal person in America might have their values and worldview formed by at least some kind of Christian milieu, those aren't the people who hold the reins of power and culture creation in America. There are some very big names, but they're not the ones who decide where the culture and policy is going. Those are the very heavily gatekept entertainment, big tech, and media industries. They decide what the respectable upper-middle-class consensus is, which is essentially just whatever the current platform of the Democratic party happens to be. In states where that's not achievable, they put up the Republicans as controlled opposition whose job it is to lose on social issues in the long run.

It's not enough to just have a vaguely nondenominational "Christian" milieu. Without a specific doctrine and sound arguments for it, all America has is an inherited habit of vague Christian feeling. Those feelings can be educated out of the youth in only a generation or two, which is what has happened now. More than a third of Americans under 30 are religiously unaffiliated. Among the rest, a huge chunk of those are the kinds of people who adapt their idea of "Christianity" to whatever's currently fashionable in the secular progressive world. The Rockefellers had a specific hand in the liberalization of mainline Protestantism with guys like Fosdick back in the day. The "social gospel" types.

The way to Christianize a nation is by converting people, though. Not by hunting for semen on people's couches.

Well all of it is kind of dumb.

Nietzsche was right when he warned about the direction of the world and how the idea of an Abrahamic god would cease to be applicable to the modern day, and how society was not adequately preparing itself for the modern era. All these systems and ideas these retards cling to because they worked in the past don't work today because we don't live in the fucking year 1800.

In 1776, there were 2.5 million people in the world. We're close to 8 billion now. That means there are now roughly 3,200 people alive for every one person who was alive when the US was founded. The population of the world has tripled in just the last 70 years, since the end of WWII.

These individuals seem to tangentially grasp that the world is different, but their heads don't seem to wrap around the idea of how different it is, that technological and social change tends to increase exponentially, not linearly.

These moral and religious systems worked back when there were insular communities and you weren't having momentary interactions with a hundred different strangers a day being supported by mechanisms run entirely by people you've never met that you don't understand or have power over. We are no longer at a point where anybody can tell you how to move forward.

Again, that is the Nietzschian idea of the new man, someone who's driven by their connection to nature on a primal level and to life itself rather than by the idea of ideological community or an afterlife.

That's why all this nonsense is so absurd, desperate pitiful people crying in the shadows hoping someone will come and save them, or if they just look at the past they'll be given the answers since it worked back then so it must work now, right?! If I just intellectualize and grope enough something will save me and give me the key, and they won't, no politicians, no scientists, no book, and certainly no fucking intellectually stunted catboy faggot on the internet. Every one of us is going to have to figure it out for ourselves.

Oh right, it's just a ploy. People are just such helpless braindead sheeple they can't see that if they only read the bible and prayed more everything would be fixed, unlike you folks, you can see the truth! You've broken the conditioning!

It's funny how all these "Christians" always seem to have so little humility.

There won't be doctrine because insular communities don't exist. Without community, which has dissolved due to technology and population size/population flow that goes along with it, how exactly do you expect these belief systems you're presenting to develop? Much like how genetic flow in populations prevents genetic drift, memetic flow in populations prevents ideological drift.

You're mistaking correlation for causation. The fall of religion has been caused by the changing structure of society, not the other way around.

Unironically this is why I push (groups) to get into coding. One more woman employed in tech means one less tranny gets tech job which means they won't put their tranny values into a system. One more American means one less offshore'd Pajeet who in turn will code pajeet values onto a system. One more moderate/right leaning means one less 4th dimensional communist to push their leftist values onto a system. Tech shapes the world now and you gotta get on it if you want to have an impact.

I'm not saying the game is fair. But I'm saying it's playable.

The way to Christianize a nation is by converting people, though. Not by hunting for semen on people's couches.
Well there goes my Friday.

Can't quote it for some reason, but the part of the op about omitting stuff about fags reminds me of this middle aged black coworker I once had. I think he was from the south and he used to talk about the bible, but he was very obviously gay (but embarrassed about it) and this one time when someone asked what his favorite part of the bible was (presumably to get a rise out of him) he started coping about how he doesn't like certain parts of it without specifying which ones. It's a really hilarious tell in these sorts of guys.

It has been brought up before that when Fuentes debated Jay Dyer on a subject concerning the Bible, he showed how little knowledge he had of Scripture, apart from superficially-used verses, against Dyer, who, really, is little more than a grifter for "Trad Orthodox" types, with a penchant for using soy-faced demons on his video's thumbnails and does very little research and clarification into the subjects that he discusses about like below:

If anyone has or finds an archive of that debate, post it here and/or upload a local archive here for safe-keeping.

While the expression "Christ is King" is part of the theological doctrine that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and therefore the Heavenly King of Earth, a vital component to the Christian Faith, regardless of denomination, it's the use of said expression by them in order to demean and undermine the authority of their critics that makes my blood boil; for example, during that Anti-Vax rally in Springfield that Fuentes, Gionet, Ralph and the AF/Groypers attended last year, a trio of counter-protesting dykes passed by, and would have been ignored were it not for Bitch Alaska Yelling "CHRIST IS KING!" at them, it was such an egregious display of their hypocrisy and flagrant disregard for the sanctity of "their beliefs".

Why can't I reply to this post? It's dumb all around. Orthodoxy has been growing in the United States, especially in the past century when all these changes have been happening. People do form communities around parishes and across the country. It's a lot better than when Nero was feeding people to lions, or when the Soviets were actively crushing it. Having to move to a different parish once in a while isn't too big of an obstacle relatively speaking.

Authentic Christianity has never been a pragmatic political tool developed to suit the environment of any particular time. You might be thinking of Roman Catholicism, Lutheranism etc because they actually were political tools used by the Franks and the Germans respectively, but authentic Orthodox Christianity has always been at odds with the spirit of the times. Even when it was mandated by the Byzantine Empire, that empire very frequently took the side of whatever new heresy cropped up whether that be Arianism, Monophysitism, Iconoclasm, etc etc.

It's not about whether it's a "tool" that "works" in some arbitrary pragmatic sense, it's about whether or not it's true.

We're all adults here. You can say Jews.
I actually was referring to sorcerers in general but that's obviously going to include a lot of Jews when the most "ultra-orthodox" version of their religion alive today is cribbed from Medieval occultism.

Look up Isaac Luria and Lurianic Kabbalah. Kabbalah is the foundation of Hasidic Judaism. Did you know that Jews believe in reincarnation? Now you do! Most western esoteric schools incorporate Kabbalah into their systems, as well. Masonry, Golden Dawn, you name it! This is all completely mainstream information that you can learn in any religious studies department of a major university.

I wouldn't say that that's a fair description of Jay Dyer. There's a lot of stuff that he goes very in-depth into. It's how he was able to get debates with some more legitimate academics and religious names than the IBS type stuff on the killstream. Here's his debate with Nick:

A good place to start watching is 1:39:35 onward. It goes directly to the heart of the epistemological problem, and then the rest of the debate is Nick trying to argue that popes who pray with Hindus aren't apostate when papal encyclicals (not to mention all of Christianity for thousands of years, including the martyrs) call praying with heathens apostasy. There was a moment in the middle there where he tried to deflect and change the conversation into being about Jay Dyer's personal character, but it got turned around instantly. You've even got Nick fans in the comments saying he got torn to pieces.

What's interesting is that Nick was actually very quick on his feet and came with a lot of information, and could've easily felted a lot of people. It's a much higher level performance than what he degenerated into with the Jim "debate".

While we're at it, here's Dyer's debate with Classical Theist, one of the most "legitimate" nickgaurds on tradcath twitter:

What I remember of this one is that it basically ends with CT saying he was unprepared for the depth of the debate.

Something that people might notice when looking at Roman Catholic argumentation online (at least with the ones well-informed enough to know that they need to be disingenuous) is that they'll try to drown you in evidences so that you're too busy to evaluate their system at the paradigmatic level. They want you to treat the debate like you'd treat a criminal trial, where whoever has the biggest pile of evidences and can construct the most convincing case out of it wins. They don't want you to treat it like a system, which can be evaluated to be contradictory or not on it's own.

That's what you see Nick doing where he piles on examples of local churches deferring to Rome's primacy of honor, but then ignoring any examples where Churches either don't defer to Rome or outright disobey it. "I'm not familiar with that piece of evidence". It's the same thing he does when he tries to pretend that apostasy isn't clearly defined in papal encyclicals in such a way that would automatically excommunicate Francis and John Paul II. "I don't find that convincing".

Nobody converts to Roman Catholicism because the Pope told them to. The act of converting presupposes that you have the ability to find out the truth for yourself. But once you're in, suddenly you have to give up the capacity that brought you in in the first place. That in itself is a refutation of Roman Catholicism as a system. The Papacy was the training wheels for the totalitarian systems of technocratic secular dogmatism that run the world today. Establishment approved "Experts" are today what the Pope was in the Middle Ages.

Then, if you do stay in, you gradually learn that all that Thomism or whatever it was that brought you in "actually isn't something you have to believe", and that ultimately the only specific point of doctrine that Roman Catholicism absolutely defends is the authority of the pope to determine what the truth is. There are so many contradictory schools of theology under the RC umbrella that the common denominator is basically just a watered down vague thing that resembles nondenominational Protestantism but with statues and candles, until even that has chunks cut out of it from more and more ideologies being grafted onto the Venn diagram.

Dude didn't even know who Spartacus was. How can one claim to truly know Christianity without a knowledge of Roman history?

Baste n' blueballed teenage pseudo-theologists like our feline friend in this thread are the most cringe thing imaginable. It's like... read a book, nigger.

The catboys are the NEETs of religion. They put in no effort, but still demand all the benefits and act superior to their enemies. I think that discussing religion with them is pointless because they treat it like an "I win" button that they can push whenever they debate a non-TradCath. Even if they get completely wrecked, they can tell themselves that they are morally superior and that their favorite e-celeb could totally refute those heretics/heathens/heterosexuals.
