They’ll see some food, music, or fashion now, and make posts on if it’s “MAGA coded.” According to some, simply not wearing harsh makeup is “MAGA coded.”

This is the stuff that gets posted on r/TikTokCringe. It’s mainly just about hating Trump/right wingers/MAGA over actually cringe TikToks. Sometimes I’ll see genuine cringe, but most of the subreddit is just politisperging, and it’s the political posts that get the most upvotes.

I remember a time where the internet was not synonymous with American politics. Even reddit used to be fairly politics free on its front page.
I'm glad this changed. Everyone needs to be politics-aware. If you don't care about politics, politics will care about you and your country will run out of gas, or your country will be headed by a confirmed pedophile, or your video games will run out of big white boobies. Just fight and rape the people you don't like.
I honestly can't tell if it's satire. Politics is for pencilneck dorks with sidepart haircuts and crusty brokebrained libs.
Maybe this apathypilling shit is an option when your biggest problem is black women getting bleached by nordic ICE agents, but not when your country is running out of gas and your family is already discussing how they'll buy canned food and gas tanks.
r/justneckbeardthings went down a similar path. After 2016 it just devolved into yet another “orange man and right wingers = le bad” subreddit that conveniently ignores the hordes of left leaning neckbeards, white knights and maladjusted weirdos that infest modern Reddit.
Everything should be political, comrade. All hobbies and entertainment must be turned into skinsuits for the Party’s activism so it can further the Revolution!
I agree but not entirely; Politics should be kept outside of hobbies, but otherwise you should be at least partially aware of what goes on around you politically.
