There's a long running shitty comic on r/comics about a man trooning out that I'm pretty sure I've posted about before. Well it turns out the troons wife is a pooner!

Twitter used to be full of this sort of thing, I remember one that was a short video of some niglet looping a piano riff on a keyboard, pressing play on a drum beat, rapping a few generic slop rap lines and it was captioned: ‘Made a banger in a minute… black people are incredible man’ with 1000000k retweets and 3000000000k likes.

I think you are referring to the DuMont network. They were never related to DuPont but their logos were a bit similar. DuMont created televisions and got into the broadcasting game. Its founder Allen DuMont was a young genius inventor and basically made the CRT practical for commercial use rather than just military/industrial. The DuPont chemical company predates him by over a century.

When it becomes obvious that Reddit created another mass shooter they go into panic mode and create conspiracy theories like this that shift the blame so they never have to admit that they radicalized yet another murderer. Very similar to how they claimed Charlie Kirk‘s killer was a right winger despite him being an ex Mormon, who was in a gay relationship with a trans “woman” who went to no kings. It’s all cope. They run damage control for their people.
