I used reddit years ago for electronics design, programming learning, hiking, photography and a few sports teams that I followed.

Electronics design and programming subreddits were overrun by jeets trying to have reddit do their homework.

Hiking and photography was overrun by environmentalist retards.

The sports team subreddits were overrun by political posting.

These great subs used to exist. They died of terminal TDS in 2016.
