Thanks for the info. Pretty sure downvoting assholes who are posting in good faith and staying on topic actually violates that sub's rules for exactly the reason you just described, it pushes the relevant replies from the OP to the bottom of the algorithm.

First you average Reddit polyamorist. The post itself (OP refused a threesome and is still haunted by it) isn’t as interesting as the list of “mental illnesses involved” at the end.
Pretty sure this is your big standard redditor/polyamorist.
These people are like living parodies of themselves. Here’s you average polyamorist and his dating profile: Exaxtly as you’d imagine it.
My favorite r/polyamory posts are the ones where a normal person shows up, gets involved with someone in “the polycule”, and goes “WTF IS THIS DEGENERACY?!? No, I’m not going to be cucked like that!”
Which is exactly what happened to OP. His “nesting partner” of seven years is about to dump him for the bull.
But there is a slight wrinkle… Two kids and a house. What to do?
The other polyamorists chime in with exactly the kind of advice you’d expect from a subreddit full of cucks.
“You need to get out and let the wife’s new boyfriend move in!”
And it’s a real shame! The new dude is “really chill”

This is very obviously a troll post, I mean it sounds so insane and over the top it leaves no other possibility. I'm not sure if OP is a troll as well, or maybe that whole subreddit. But I would bet serious money on this comment being a troll.
