I find it interesting how a lot of these "I got totally screwed over by X and I didn't do anything wrong!" reddit posts are often quickly found out to be the result of OP just being a retard, and not of said company or person being an evil entity that's out to get them. Here's an example I just stumbled upon:
So OP volunteers for a healthcare non-profit. He brought their iPads with him on a plane ride. Then the airline suddenly just took all of them. Horrible, right? "Contact the news, sue the shit out of them!", his fellow redditors immediately started yelling at him.
Then someone did the tiniest bit of research:
Turns out OP didn't read the rules and didn't do any of the required paperwork, and so the airline confiscated the devices. Then, like a typical redditor, he immediately went to post about it to blame the airline for everything. For some reason he intentionally wrote the name of the company wrong too, as if saying the name will cause him to be cursed lol.
Now he is conveniently ignoring the comments that point out he didn't follow the rules, or he tries to cope like this:
I wonder if he's coping because he realizes he now has to explain to his non-profit that their iPads are gone because he refused to just
read?
What a shame.
