Its funny how many people had dads into Star Trek. Though my Dad always loved TNG the most and even got into Voyager but I latched on really hard to TOS even as a little kid.

TOS was/is fun. At its heart it was an adventure series and the music/tone reflects that.

I have a kid that likes that old spiderman cartoon and after watching it with him I can see the appeal for a kid.

One thing these too chuckle fucks got right about the world of star trek was how it presented a future that you would want to live in.

I just finished watching The NeverEnding Story and I'm kind of surprised there hasn't been a Re:View of that movie since there's a lot of really well done effect work and it flows together quite well. Lots of nice matte paintings, composite work, models, puppets, and a few flubbed chroma keys. It's almost perfect for that show.

I still remember that summer between the cliffhanger for BoBW. Fucking intense, and yeah, nothing can ever come close to that kind of anticipation to see something get resolved. Season 3 was amazin.

In all seriousness The Never Ending Story was one of my favorite movie as a kid and this is indeed one that was lightning in a bottle, they tried to make sequels to it and it just wasn't the same.
