It's wild because he has hand waved off several points about "toxic" Star Trek fans and how people would never blame Shatner for those people. Meanwhile he's losing fans over this. Dude hasn't even mentioned Mike or RLM for a good while now. It's developed its own momentum and it's all about Bill. Which, as you say is probably just the way he wants it.

And he keeps going on about his charity and wanting to do what is best for it. Missed a big opportunity by turning RLM's community against you there, Shatner.

@Null Is any of this worthy of hitting the news box? I know it's partially real celebrity stuff, but the RLM connection is compelling.

I like Jack, he's the literal Dad of the group and I can excuse his zany behavior with the fact he grew up in a farm.
 
I've never thought that this person on Twitter was actually Shatner. Just the way he talks tells me that this is somebody in their 30s. They're young enough to know all the current culture and lingo, but also old enough not to fall for this SJW woke shit.

Somebody older and wiser should start asking him about old-timey movie/tv stuff he was involved in and see if he responds properly.

tl;dr: Shatner got into a shipping war of all things for a show called Outlander a few years back. The argument got so heated that an assistant of his, Paul Camuso, set up a website for people to report people in the Outlander fandom who were "harassing" people. It's actually still up: https://outlanderbullying.wordpress.com/, Archive

Given he set up the site himself, it seems Paul Camuso had a bit more of a personal stake in the argument than Shatner did. It's nothing concrete though, obviously. I'd put money on him having control of the account though.

Are you suggesting that Paul Camuso has William Shatner trapped in a transporter pattern buffer and has hijacked the man's twitter account?

They should ask him about movies like Incubus.
No fucking way whoever manages his account has seen Incubus.
Ask him: "Did you really hurt yourself during that fight scene with the black dude? It looked like you did."
If he answers with anything other than: "What black dude?" then he's an impostor.
There are no photos of the actors other than Shatner on IMDB and I doubt he'll watch the movie in order to check.

Holy cow! Shatner is having a full on meltdown via twitter over this. It's beautiful. He's tweeted like 20 times over the last couple hours, and most of the replies are either mindless YAS CAP SLAY ass kissers, or people gently trying to talk Shatman down, like orderlies at a nursing home. Beautiful. I hope it doesn't make Mike too sad, because that could be the only turd in this delicious bowl of salt.
 
I don't know why people think that Shatner doesn't know how to use Twitter. Bill might be really old but he still acts like a young guy, he is the one who shitposts with his account. The only time when he's not typing those tweets is when it's about his charity. The man gets forced into twitter slapfights all the time (Brianna Wu's moon rock theory, Supernatural, Outlander, weeb shit, etc.).
That said, I hope the RLM fanboys on Twitter will stop harassing people just because a celebrity doesn't like their Youtube e-celeb. The more they send retarded tweets, the more RLM will look like a toxic production.
