Will watch that when spouse gets home from work but I want to know if my cynical guess about what Bird Box is is correct from only looking at the netflix banner for it: it's just a Quiet Place but with sight monster instead of noise monster being the gimmick?

update: and I'm right. But I think the idea would be cool since it sounds Lovecraftian.

I dispute that!

It's The Happening but with invisible... oh. Nope, just the Happening.

If Will Ferrell was ever funny ... Then he hasn't been funny since 2004.

I liked him in SNL (Celebrity Jeopardy, especially), I liked Elf, and I liked Anchorman. Everything else associated with Will Ferrell is cancer.

Anywho, I might check out Birdbox at some point this Winter if I'm snowed in at some point or something. I'm going in with really low expectations though.

Looking at Will Ferrell Movie list, I liked Austin Powers 1 and 2 however he is only in one scene in those movies, Zoolander was okay(2 is awful), Stranger than Fiction and The Lego Movie. For shows I liked Eastbound & Down but he was awful in that show. With the amount of things he has been in his track record is awful.

He's a lot like Adam Sandler. You either like his brand of comedy or you don't. I didn't think Holmes and Watson was any worse than Blades of Glory, Anchorman or Land of the Lost, and I actually preferred his Holmes to his (awful) Alex Trebek.

And, for the record, I don't think I laughed at anything harder than when he punches the dog from The Artist in The Campaign.

Has anyone seen this fever dream that now has a greenlit show on Adult Swim?

I dug it up after a bout of insomnia had me watching the new show. It has some familiar voices, like a guy from MST3K. Oh yeah, and the big 3 of RLM. So far they aren't in the new incarnation, according to IMDB.

Edit: They also drew them in, I just noticed. At 6:34.

Points off for not including Rich's laugh.

Ghost Wizard??? They ripped off Dr. McNinja!

I like that the animation style reminds me of the old Thief game cinematics.

Talladega Nights is really good.

Ferrell's alright. But I gave him a little of points for backing out of a role as Ronald Reagan when he realized the whole movie was just making fun of the man's Alzheimer's disease.
