Which is amazing, I think. Josh, as has been mentioned, has twitter sperging going on, Jack is super social justice active on facebook, or he used to be, and a lot of their older guests are absolutely crazy on twitter, but they keep it OFF SCREEN. Don't even allude to it. You're right, it would have been easy to go off on Eddie Eagle, easy target, but they stuck to entertainment.

Personally, I felt the most surprising thing I learned from that video is that Jack actually grew up in a rural area and has more experience around guns than the others.

He did mention during the Supergirl episode that he grew up on a farm, which the others took to explain his love for Supergirl.

Jack at least has a big schlong.

Which is why I found his derision for the Eddie Eagle video strange. Maybe he just wanted to play up the juxtaposition between kids and guns for laughs and didn't notice the video was filled with sound advice.

I follow Jack on Twitter and I frequent the Previously Recorded livestreams and he doesn't across as SJW-esque in his posts or on stream but maybe like you said, he toned it down or came to his senses. I like Jack on the whole. He's a good foil to Rich when they play games and the fact they don't always agree about stuff makes for interesting videos. It's nice to hear people debate and have differing opinions without bullshit 'you're a hater blah blah' shit or bland vanilla praise.

It's almost like he has enough common sense to know that people don't like getting lectured to when they're looking for entertainment... looking at you, Movieblob.
