If you ever watched their game streams it really becomes apparent. I think that's one of the reasons they stopped doing it. Rich was incapable of not engaging with trolls. He just could not ignore them, and routinely argued with them, or acted like a smug retard. He also is really bad at vidya, and whines a lot.

Tragically true. In this day and age any decently written show that doesn't go out of it's way to shit on it's own audience is a stand out.

The funny thing is Widow's Bay isn't even that good. I think I would have dropped it within the first couple episodes were it not for Stephen Root carrying the show on his shoulders. Glad I stuck with it though, the main actress is actually funny which is very rare for actresses and the Tim Baltz cameo had me in stitches.

it was always hilarious when he played anything with voice chat, players constantly trolled him and made fun of his voice; or they thought he was an old woman. My girlfriend gets angry when he laughs, and it makes my cats crazy.

I fully understand that it ain't an easy game to stream (a Troika RPG streamed by Gen X console players?) but doing it out of spite for the trolls and doing it that badly was kind of ..... cringeworthy to watch. It was my first and last attempt to watch Previously Recorded. The game starts and Jack says "ok, we can choose from these seven types of vampires". Rich then replies in a bratty voice "I don't want to play any of them! Why doesn't the game let me play the kind of vampire I want?!"

That's when I turned it off.

I have a vague memory of one of them -- either Jessie or Mike -- popping up in my "people you may know" on one of the socials. The profile picture was a couple playing with a toddler in what looked like a backyard lawn, but the resolution was poor, and I didn't pay close attention because I don't really know them. Still, the thought of Mike being a dad felt weird.
