Mike ran afoul of "teens" again in his theater.
Mike if he ran a theater:

If your review is going to be “I didn’t finish watching it” and complaining about your shitty theater, why even bother? I can’t imagine being this lazy.

Just go at 10AM on a weekday or a Sunday when all the vape toting kids are asleep.

Shit, take that Patreon money and drive out a little further. It’s Wisconsin, go to another town. I’d love to know which shithole AMC 300 in the local mall they inexplicably keep going to.

Maybe it's just me but the way they talked about Kane Parsons and Curry Barker was really passive aggressive.

As Mike is calling Kane intelligent he shows interview footage that makes him sound autistic and socially inept. When they're talking about Curry Mike straight up calls him a dumbass.

It's like they're internally seething at the fact that those two accomplished everything they wanted in filmmaking at a young age.

It was crazy that Mike and Jay were calling Curry Barker a sellout for being signed to do a Texas Chainsaw Massacre film, as if they wouldn't have leapt at the chance to direct a major horror IP if they had that same opportunity.

Funny how they didn't say that about Robert Eggers, who after only 3 movies where 2 had very niche appeals and the third might have not even made any money, he was signed on to remake not just any old movie, but a movie that someone could understandably argue was a major stepping stone in the evolution of cinema.

Yeah. The whole interview edits felt really meanspirited. I didn't think much of the "Mike and Jay are totally jealous of new youtuber filmmaker!" that some people keep saying, but this part in the video really shows it. And it makes them look really bad, like, i didn't see the Kane interview they edited, but from the others i have watched from him, he isn't as stupidly verbose as they are making it look. It's like they are too dumb to understand that someone young can talk well and it makes Mike and Jay look pretty retarded, and that elitism with Curry doing a big IP movie doesn't help with that either.

And why is that? Oh, probably because his name is Verbinski, not "Verbansky."
