What's the point having a person Mocap a jelly cube. It seems like something that could just be normally animated and voiced by Jack?

I remember hearing about another He-Man movie being made years ago, this had a troubled development.
Like RLM said, this came out about 15 years too late, the target demo is in their 50's and doesn't care.
Also, casting Leto contributed to the movie's low opening weekend numbers, people are actively avoiding seeing movies with him in them.

It may be said, but She-Ra had a big comeback as its own IP, people were pretty nuts for She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. And She-Ra is a He-Man spin-off, she's He-Man's twin sister. That was about 8 years ago now, damn, but that means the braindead teens that blogged about the lesbian shipping in it or whatever are now adults with theoretical money to burn.
 
The closeups of Rich Evans messily eating a vomitburger from Hardee's were unbearable, but it's as close as we're going to get to a MovieBob crossover.

I haven't seen much of any incarnation of He-Man but the only thing I liked about the original was Skeletor's nasal voice and I'm disappointed that he doesn't sound like that in the new movie.

Not going to lie this was a baffling thing to have in the video. RLM went pretty hard on TLJ and the sequel trilogy in general and their audience probably contains a large number of those man-babies.

Ever since the our revenue is dropping video I have noticed they are really blanding out. Jay in particular often seems like he would prefer to be anywhere else.

It's obvious that the He-man fanbase is a small, irrelevant group nowadays. Only really able to support toylines, not Hollywood blockbusters. The movie was made to appeal to people like RLM who have a passing familiarity with He-man but think it's stupid and homoerotic (gay is suddenly fine as an insult). As such I'm glad that the movie is bombing even if I couldn't care about He-man myself.

Gay is an insult, but you must respect tranny pronouns as @Hentai-Semitism illustrated, and referencing sex trafficked female humans in a pun about "gash" never went out of style.
This comes on the heels of my having been in chat during a Twitch livestream for a [Millennial?] comedy-adjacent creator/artist who gushed about how awesome it was to visit European brothels just last night. These guys are classic libshits, the very essence of "lefty dude bro" -- they never went away, they just infected the culture so that assholes like Hasan Piker and Brandon Buckingham can normalize rape and throwing cash at the 'gash.'

He-Man (barely) hit $50 million for its opening weekend. I expect it will take less than $300 million total, which means a loss of over $100 million after theaters' cut of the gross is taken into account. No sequel sadge
