I always assumed it was just an absurdist thing, like in Bo Selecta! when Maralyn Manson addresses people as "Mildred":
I think it's more indicative of people taking these drunk cheese niggers too seriously.

If I got paid tens of thousands of dollars a month to complain vapidly about a failing industry, you better believe I'd do it with the least amount of effort. Why even bother? Sell out, bloat, and die. Pure Gen X punk rock mentality right there.

So Corridor Crew spoke about the AI dubbing in their latest episode, and I think there thoughts were more succinct and interesting than the RLM take, although they were more positive about the look of the tech. Maybe that is down to the dubbing making it feel cheap and shit.

Última edición:
I watched a movie the day before that Half in the Bag came out that had AI dubbing too. UFO Sweden, it was called. Shmaltzy and underwhelming, but I spent a good 20 minutes baffled by the AI-assisted dubbing. Very strange shit.
