Back then, those people were probably like, "Welp, old so-and-so is dead and gone. Forgotten forever what he looked like and how he died!" but not anymore!!! OR like when Leonardo Da Vinci paints over some half-completed drawing and is like "No one will ever know this shit drawing I started and gave up on cause it was shit! I paint over it!" but no! They can use infrared electro magnascopes and x-rays and see what's below the paint. Well, my thought is: What if right now, WE'RE the old-timey cavemen types. Maybe in the future like 5,000 years from now Humans will have some kind of super technology that and FIND and reassemble OLD ATOMIC STRUCTURES that once existed in the past!!! Some kind of insane to think of technology for our now brains to comprehend. Matter is really just changed from one thing to another. Fire turns VHS tape into carbon bits. Who knows what the future holds? What I'm trying to say is that Rich Evans once told me he took a Polaroid photo of himself taking a dump on his Grandmother's grave. Later, he was ashamed of this so he burned the photo. What I'M saying is that thousands of years from now that photo can be reassembled from the molecules floating in the ether of the universe long after the Earth has turned into a Venus-like hellscape. Humans that live and work in space and have since colonized many worlds in our Galaxy will return to Earth one day and from high orbit beam down a laser that will gather and assemble old molecules floating in the winds of the planet that has now become so hot it can melt lead. The molecules travel up the laser to the spaceship and reassemble an old photo of Rich Evans dropping a hot brown load on his Nana's grave. These humans (who have since moved on from the nasty old habit of defecation) will consider such a photo as an old custom of humans that lived tens of thousands of years ago. Honestly, this episode made it clear why Mike is doing the whole "I'm above ALL of it, but fuck the fans when they criticize shit like The Acolyte" thing. It is clear that he is sucking up to all the d-listers in his contacts to get further into voice acting and dares not offend their sensibilities by making fun of things deserving mockery and pointing out the dire quality of Hollywood DEI product these days, lest the opportunities he wishes came 20 years ago, that are now trickling in, dry up on him. He is embarrassed by everything that built his fanbase, but is not entrenched enough in Hollywood to walk away from RLM yet.

I'm in the same bag myself, Re:View? eh.. I'll watch one now if it's got Rich Evans in it he still seems like the only one of the crew to still have a twinkle in his eye otherwise HiTB, BoTW and even WoTW episodes are just a grind now. It's like doing an eight hour plus car trip and towards the last few hundred miles you just want it to be fucking over with.

It's honestly sad. I loved them back in what? 2015? when I first discovered them as a tiny channel and I felt such enjoyment when I'd see them upload a fresh HiTB, WoTW or BoTW. It would make my day now it's just "ugh do I really want to sit through an hour of this shit?".

Maybe they need to bring the Canadians back? they always made for the funnest episodes. I'll never forget the grief clown Eloise Cole.

No one likes Josh, but honestly him and Jay talking about Twin Peaks was one of my favorite parts of the entire channel. The "dirty bearded men in a room!" bit as they sip their coffee at the beginning of part 1 still makes me cackle when I think of it.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who ha noticed the joy fade away from the RLM crew. I couldn't tell if it was just me, but it seemed lately that they, especially Mike, have a very Holier-than-thou attitude, shitting on people who don't agree with their movie takes more and more. I can't say I've seen a whole bunch, but I never remember shit like mocking user reviews on films before, or the level of vitriol they seem to speak with now. It's saddening because they used to be a fun watch, just some guys watching some shit and having a laugh.
