It was nice to listen to if only because I never liked either group growing up, and hearing those awful lyrics without the music was enjoyable. I'd almost like to see them try a 90's TV show trivia, they probably watched a bunch of shows people forgot about. Somehow I think Rich was a big Nightman fan, and Millennium seems right up Jay's alley.

I haven’t finished it yet, but I’m betting the answer to the last question is “Both” which is what prompted this entire theme of trivia.
Dang, Rich even thought the same thing

I like how their metric for whose lyrics is whose is if it made them laugh or not.

I like how Jay essentially called Bloodhound Gang stupid and then was laughing uncontrollably at their relatively clever lyrics. I enjoyed both bands when they were new and fresh, so their trivia contest was a fun stumble down memory lane. It was also funny how quickly Rich got super competitive once he got a few answers right. They definitely need to do more outside-of-the-box shows to stretch their legs a bit.

End of September Updates

We've shot a bunch of videos recently! Most won't be edited and released until probably November since October is fast approaching and we have several spooky videos already planned for that. But one video that's shot specifically to release in October is a new Friday the 13th re:View with Mike and Jay that covers parts 1 through 5, with the second half of the series being covered...eventually, maybe? If Mike can stand to finish them! We also shot re:Views for Pee-Wee's Big Adventure and Raising Arizona as well as the triumphant return of Black Spine Junka!

I wonder if the upcoming guest will be in the return of Black Spine Junka and how they will do the Black Spine Junka without the Nukie tapes.

We also shot re:Views for Pee-Wee's Big Adventure
Ah, hell yeah. WithWho Framed Roger Rabbit? and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory they've now done 2/3rds of my favorite movies! Now they just gotta do Pee-Wee's Big Adventure and it'll be the hat-trick... and it's not impossible as they've mentioned it a few times through the years.

The mad lads are actually going to do it, with this final piece they will have done a Re:View on all 3 of my favorite movies.

Ah, the show. It was something only rare brought up in the fandom for obvious reasons but you'd think there'd be some kind of cult following but there is but it's very minor. What's weird is that it was an alright horror show that managed to be a little more graphic than most. One episode was directed by Cronenberg. There's another one I liked but I can't remember about a ballet and there's a guy with a music box that somehow controls a ballerina and it ends with him fucking with the box and causing the girl to die on stage.

My favorite middle-aged midwestern hack frauds reviewing my favorite middle-aged horror hack fraud series, I'm positively mildly excited

Actually, the video is about the entire Friday the 13th movie series (part 1 dealing with 1 to 5) , not the TV show, with brief mentions of Parts 4 and 6 seeing how they were already talked about by Jay and Beardfat in a different Re:View.

Also apparently, the video has been released in September and not the horror month of October, so yeah that is something.

Also Also in the video Mike and Jay mentioned the Friday the 13th series done by A24 for Peacock and yet don't realize that this isn't the horror franchise that will be getting a TV show by A24:

I'm so glad my favorite alcoholic Milwaukee hacks are covering this series so I never have to watch it again.
