The Patreon people have leaked that they're going to do a re:View of it and David Lynch's Dune, which is both interesting and disappointing since a re:View will almost certainly be Jay and someone else instead of Mike
The Patreon post already said it's gonna have Colin on, though it didn't say who else. Jay is most likely given the Lynch connection. I know re:View has always been a two-man show (except for the Horse Ninja April Fool's video), but I suppose it's not out of the realm of possibility for them to bring in a third person. Mike and Rich are both big into sci-fi, so I don't doubt they have things to say about both movies.

Regardless of who's in it, I'm still looking forward to it.

I'll take the canuckistanian over the beard fat any day. Josh is a little lame, and says jokes that I think of. I am not a funny person

I've always appreciated Colin's energy, and wish he could be there full time. He's got the guileless lack of world-weary cynicism Jack brings to the table, but without the shrieking monkey antics.

Don't you talk that way about my boy Jack. I know he's a little grating sometimes, but I really like him in BotW to balance out all the depressing fats (But I'd rank Colin higher)

Dune is a rare good movie that does exactly what Plinkett said to do in his Titanic review; make sure to set things up to pay them off. I just think the shield rules are a bit inconsistent and it might be a lore thing, but short swords aren't even the optimum weapon for that type of combat. Royalty should be using sword breaker, Sai, or Jutte weapons to assist in grappling the opponent's blade.

Hans Zimmer sucks though. Every time I heard the score, I kept wishing I was listening to the Nier series soundtrack instead. Specifically Memories of Dust.

In the novel they use rapiers I believe. I also try not to think about the shields too hard I just look at it as an excuse as to have sword fighting in a sci-fi.

To add to this nitpick, why aren't infantry using physical shields? A gladius is not complete without a scutum or a buckler. The reason to only have a sword is in a civilian self-defense context where it's cumbersome to carry a shield, but we see a full scale battle in this movie, so the Harkonnens should be carrying full gear.
