Didn't Mike fuck a girl Jay liked prior to RLM? Has that been posted here?

There's a longstanding rumor that they had some huge falling out over a skirt either while they were in film school or in the years between film school and the success of the Phantom Menace review, but I don't know if it's ever been confirmed. But now they share Rich Evans, so nothing like that will ever happen again.

I'm so hype for their Re:View on the 2018 version.

Interested in seeing this. Dario Argento is my favorite director with Suspiria in my nebulous top 5 films list (at least tied with Tenebre and Phenomena).

Gotta admit, found the remake to be a unbearable slog. Sure it has more story but eh. I watch Argento movies more for the psychedelic horror experience

I loved the remake as it's own thing, but I also watch a ton of pretentious art house movies, so I may be biased.

More than just a rumour. Gilchrist's entire email server with all his sent emails over a several year period was found and gave us a lot of the pre-RLM lore, including confirmation of both Rich's parents being drug fiends.

Were can i read up on this shit?

You haven't seen... the image?

I think the original Suspiria is a tad overrated. I'm a weirdo that prefers Inferno over it. Are there any exceptional people that prefer Mother of Tears over the other two? Favorite Argento is a tie between Tenebre and Phenomena.

I like art house films and art house horror, I loved Killing of a Sacred Deer, but the remake was just too slow. You could cut out all the back and fourth with the psychologist and all the bullshit and it would be a way more interesting film.

Mother of Tears is baffling, but so is Argento in general starting post-Opera. Trauma is the last movie I can sit through of his.

A slight tangent, but I rewatched Mario Bava's Shock last night staring Daria Nicoladi for the first time in forever and find it such a underappreciated film. Awesome theme song, I am positive a lot of Japanese game composers like the Final Fantasy dude is heavily inspired by Italian scores. Too bad the ghost has a bad 70's stache.

Mother of Tears is garbage but -at the very fucking least- has good gore to kind of make up for how shit it was. It's also slight;y better than Dracula 3D which isn't saying much.

Shock is awesome and top tier Bava.

Drunken Master 1 is the one where he steals the gweilo's balls to kill him as the climax.
'Snake in the eagles shadow' is the movie where Jackie Chan kills the westerner via testicular explosion before killing the main villain with cat powers. Drunken master 1 he uses drunken powers to fight the stick king and then an assassin that's hired to kill his dad.

I'm genuinely surprised they didn't have more garbage Hong Kong Kung-Fu films and they only had American ones.
