what was the worst previously recorded take?

Stream take, but Jack insisting Last Jedi is a really good movie for almost an hour sent me back in the day. It starts a few minutes into it. Couldn't imagine stomaching this live. Jack was a real stickler about it too, even sort of shooting down a joke about the Last Jedi (by insisting on the message of "hope") and getting visibly upset at the Christmas BOTW that year, especially towards the end:

Holy shit, I was laughing along when I first watched this BOTW, now it's extremely cringe and I feel uneasy. Thank you.

That review was over six and a half years ago. No wonder they're running out of steam :bossman:

Just hope they post a new video soon or we'll have to start speculating about Mike's taxes.

i think as with all things RLM, when they have a passion for it, whether it be a movie, sitcom, or review, they can make excellent stuff.
That's true about... almost anything involving anyone. 110% when it comes to storytelling stuff like movies, comics, writing, etc.

I remember when they finally played Vampire The Maquerade after everyone kept begging them to, and Rich just shit all over it just to be a dick.

I don't even care about the game, but it was some real reddit fag behavior.

I always thought their view on Sonic was shit, but that takes the cake.
In fairness, they did say they don't play video games and don't understand them and you can't use literary reasoning to critique video games anyways. Figuring out a good game from a bad game actually requires an okay understanding of economics and psychology (specifically incentive structures) if not actual coding.

I liked this picture from a recent It's A Gundam video. Something about it just works. I think it's edited from a Yojimbo still, which I saw years ago, which helps make the picture work for me.

Jack was such a drag on Previously Recorded. I understand the problem with Game Station 2.0 (Rich did a good job with the reviews, but the reviews weren't really funny.) But Jack can sometimes drag an episode so much that it makes it completely unwatchable.

Yes, it's from Yojimbo. The cop is telling Sanjuro about the big bad of this movie, Usagi, the guy with a gun, in this scene... I think. It's been years since I've seen it.

It needed Mike. Him and Rich are always good together. They can talk about anything, even Jerry Springer. If they just sat down and talked about games they liked, with Mike busting Rich's chops here and there, it would be a fun show. Case in point, the video where they both played that RLM fan game with the studio. It was better than all the PreRec videos Rich and Jack ever made.

The main problem for PreRec I think is that Mike doesn't care about video games and as such had no interest in being part of it. Jack is also not funny, has an annoying laugh, is a complete pushover unless he has a moronic opinion to defend (See: ''Last Jedi'' love) and spouts a lot of dumb opinions. Nobody can jab at Rich and as such he has no one to play off of, that's why PreRec was doomed from the start. It could have been worse, though. It could have been beardfat.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=WesiLHmV-nsI look forward to an elderly man fumble around and try to wrap his head around the concept of a video game movie that also stars the elderly
You won't be disappointed, enjoy Mike saying "I've never even heard of a videogame called Borderlands." Which is amazing to me, because remember when it was a pack in game for the Playstation Vita:

it reminds me of all the people liking the fallout TV show who never actually played the fallout games but everyone who actually played all the fallout games hitting the TV show.
Also Borderlands went downhill after the pre sequel and ran out of good ideas

when it comes to fallout, never heard a single fan of the game say anything but bad things about the show. never seen it, but it does look bad.
