Reccomendations for Fiction Posting Sites - That aren't faggots and will allow uncensored adult content like gore.

I was giving a sarcastic answer. Didn't expect that reply. If you found yourself auto channeling stuff then you might want to work getting closer to god and avoid intoxicants. The other way to avoid creepy stuff from happening is clean your room and get rid of whatever you don't use anymore.

As for ham radio? That's too technical for your danger hairs. So they'll never get into it. If you get the right gear you can create your own internet via radio. Have fun
I know, which is why I gave it, haha.

Pretty strict requirements.
My mind jumped to fictionpress but that is just for plain text stories.
Spacebattles has an extensive creative writing forum but the average forum goer is not very fun to interact with. Same goes for SB spin offs like sufficient velocity (even more autistic) and questionable questing. That last one (QQ) has fairly loose rules but its mainly used for smut.
Archiveofourown is mainly fanfiction. The fandoms are filled with fujoshi.
I've got no experience with wattpad, but I know people use it for stories.
SB and SV are whinyprudes who don’t allow any actually adult content in stories. QQ is almost entirely smut; namely, the overflow from SB and SV people who are forced to lock their hands in chastity when they’re actually on SB and SV.

AO3 would work, but your story would share a home with RPF shit like Barack Obama and John McCain sucking each other off and fucking each other in the ass.

Wattpad is another option, but it’s full of YA and romance bullshit.

So what I'm getting from reading your op is you want to write horror and other creepy stuff?
Did I get that right?
Horror, genre fiction (scifi, fantasy, etc.) And pulpy shit, I guess the modern comparison to pulp would be the light novel. If I was doing SCP I'd just make a wiki and write in in. But I want something more cohesive.

I only write smut for money, I'be got no interest in helping people jerk off except if I am getting paid.

Right now I have narrowed it down to four: AO3, RR, Fiction Press and Blog. RR seems interesting with the feedback and such which is always important.

I've done some light poking around and it seems like Wattpad with less retarded tweens writing RPF, so if you like Wattpad's format but not the site itself that's a good option.

Stories on Fictionpress don't seem to get much feedback or traffic. It's also the same exact kind of site as FF.net which I personally think is clunky and harder to use than the other options

AO3 is pretty good about the authors' right to write and publish whatever content they want, but as said you'd be sharing the site with people who exercise that by writing shota gore rapefests about TommyInnit the underage Minecraft streamer.

So youre for hire?

Right if you were considering only horror I got a few titles about real life accounts of demonic possession.

Also if you're addicted to writing horror might consider whatever made you write stuff on walls is still around. Might be trying to get you to write a bunch of dark stuff to gain a stronger hold in your life. To lead you down further into insanity and despair

The weirdest part about Fictionpress is that despite its relative lack of popularity, it's pretty much the only site that FFN's owners actually still sort of care about.

FF.net is still the real draw and even though AO3 has eclipsed it, it's still part of the top 3 fanfic sites and still has a fair amount of inertia from when it was the biggest fanfic site on the internet ever. It's still the main go-to hub for a lot of older fandoms.

Absolutely I am for hire. I'll write porn for money, I have no shame.

Oh, I'm in academia. Insanity, despair and psychological breaks are part of my life.

Honestly, I'll probably set up multiple.

RR, Ao3 and god help me, I'll investigate Wattpad. I don't have time to make a blog, so its easier if I just use multiple platforms. I mean, FF.net is mainly for Fanfic, I don't think its original content gets a lot of draw. Maybe I'll set up one there if I ever get the desire to write a fanfic to clear some rust off the old writing gears. The thing is I'm always going to share that degenerate sort of shit no matter where I go. My main thing I need is feedback and I'm not allergic to it, so the bigger more trafficked sites will help. There's going to be degen shit everywhere and I'm not planning on writing porn or entering those arenas so they'll stay within a 50 foot pole of me.

It's March 11th. Today's is a major holiday. Visit your local Hindu temple and ask Shiva for that to be turned around for the better

As for the book? Demonic foes by Richard Gallagher.

As for hire? I want to finish up my ideas on politics so I can move on. I think people need a third option.

Well, RR and Ao3 it is then. Blog maybe when I have time.

I thought SpaceBattles was all SJW? Or at least the mods. Never been there, but that's what I've read elsewhere. Somebody should write a short story with a tranny villain similar to "Jessica" Yaniv and see what happens.

Discovery on WattPad is just about impossible nowadays unless you're sponsored, even if you are in fact writing Riverdale/Jane Eyre crossover fic or whatever it is that is popular this week.

Based upon my interests, I'd probably post on https://www.royalroad.com/home for discovery and crosspost to a WordPress blog. AFAIK there's no requirement you post LitRPG/GameLit, though that's obviously the site's main thrust. But a lot of people do in fact get a start there, then take it down when they're ready to post an ebook on Amazon. (There is no penalty on RR for doing this. It seems almost encouraged.) I think a few now full-time or close to it authors actually got their start that way. The comment section can be brutal, but some treat it like the world's cheapest editor/beta reader.

I do know RR makes no claim on copyright, does not force a CC license on you, BUT occassionally scammers grab books off the site and simply load them as ebooks to Amazon. Seems to happen more there than elsewhere, from what I've seen.

The problem with just doing a WordPress blog is, to my mind, discovery. Who will find your masterpiece?

Wattpad was recently bought out by Naver (the corporation that owns Webtoon and LINE) and because of it users are expecting a purge of mature content.
wattpad hasnt been the same since they removed the ability to use 2 genres to classify stories. yes wattpad, i wanna read this minecraft fanfic you keep recommending on the fucking science fiction tab

A03.

Fan fiction.net is a shitty hellhole that is 98% rulebreaking fanfics and the mods don't exist anymore.

Wattpad is attrocious

Depends on your end goal.

Do you want exposure, feedback, both, neither?

I’d publish on ao3, cross post on ffn, & consider other sites such as various blogs, fiction press, etc, based on your OP concerns of retaining rights, & satisfying your end goal.

Publish/ post under a tag like, “Original Work” on ao3, which oddly, hasn’t been created yet. I just checked, they so far have “original” & “Original work sorta” so you can create that. Ao3’s tagging system is a blessing & a curse, double edged sword, manageable to utilize to your advantage.

On FFN, post in their clearly labeled, original work section. Anyone who uses the site knows the system there, & any stragglers you can link there, & wherever else you publish/ host, your work.

The website is a good idea. Certain fanfic sites (ffn, ao3) have dedicated sections for original work or room to create your own section, so I’d use that to your advantage. Those two in particular have traffic, which you can use for your beginning audience/ readers, for this project.

Good luck.
