Hey all. So im unable to have children with the potential of infertility (And other reasons.) I wonder how does reborn Dolls work. I was considering getting ones that are less then 100 but my mom is unsure about it saying it's a waste of money. How do you cope with infertility or unrelated issues. Would it be a smart investment, how would I go about "adopting" a reborn.
You first, don't get a reborn doll. That's creepy. Second why do you care about infertility issues? Are married? Do you have a family? You can always adopt
Yeah, that's who I was thinking about. There's also women who are obsessed with making the babies look as real as possible and pretending it's a real baby. Kind of reminds me of those guys that buy sex dolls and act like it's a real woman.
There are a lot of sad women that buy these dolls because their baby died. I remember one lady who lost her baby due to a drunk driver, and she paid a lot of money for a custom baby that looked just like her deceased child. She claimed this was therapeutic but you could tell it wasn't, the poor woman was getting worse and that baby doll was preventing her from moving on.
aside from actual mourning mothers/aspiring mothers reborn dolls are 100% a fetish thing, especially with the weird fantasy shit. other than that it feels like an unhealthy coping mechanism

I'm a tourist who's only here because I saw this was the most recent thread in this subforum and like everyone else thought it would be people dunking on people embracing a maladaptive coping mechanism.
I don't usually do the TMI thing here because it's a bad idea, but I genuinely sympathize with you. I'm not a woman, so I can't exactly match how you're probably feeling, but when I was younger I fucked my life all the way up and now I'm old and have nothing to show for it. Including a family of my own, and, especially that.
Don't get a weird lifelike airbrushed silicone baby doll. That is the very last thing you need because it will only serve as a very expensive reminder of something that you cannot have. The dopamine hit you get from nurturing and holding that doll as if it were real will turn out to be the most twisted version of diminishing returns you can possibly imagine. Going down that path will not lead to good things, I can promise you this.
I dealt with my inner demons by being a good uncle for my extended family and being invested in what's going on in their lives. It is not a replacement for having a lineage of my own, but being involved with those of my siblings is rewarding in its own way. I also picked up a hobby working on model kits, reading (and writing) medieval fantasy books, and involving myself in my local church.
Honey, idk what level of issue you're having or if you're married (please be married....) etc. but I'm truly sorry. This is some maladaptive coping mechanism that is the saner version of ABDL because they had a traumatic childhood. I feel for you, but I'm glad you made a thread before going full retard.
There's options.
Adoption. Find a nice couple who can't take care of their baby for whatever reason so you have some basic history. You could also look into fostering children (Granted this emotional toll is higher).

And I might stick with those baby care games like that trilogy DS games I used to play (My baby 3: and friends) it seems a lil too real plus when looking at baby alive dolls I was trying to find ones my granny got when I was 5 and it seems they don't sell the OG Gen.
