Really strange or creepy tv shows - was it real?

My dad recently got the complete collection of this strange anthology series called Tales from the Darkside, and I watched a couple of episodes. I'm not entire sure if they're really creepy, but they were pretty weird (the one about the old man who somehow came back from the dead and went through various stages of decomposition until he sneezed his nose off was rather neat). Doubt I'll watch more on a whim, though.

I liked the ep with the garbage disposal monster.
I want to see that monster fight the homeowners association monster from the X-Files.

Tales from the Darkside was great! The "Teddy Did It" episode scared me so much as a kid. Remember Amazing Stories? It was kind of like The Twilight Zone... I think it was Steven Speilberg too. There was a creepy episode where some kids had a potion that they could put on magazine pictures to make them come to life, and they put it on a model in a magazine, it didn't show her legs in the picture, so when she came to life, she only existed from the waist up.

I remember being at a friend's house for a sleepover and waking up at like 4am. When I looked at the TV, there was this show on with puppets, colours that came out of an LSD trip, and I think some gore? It was Adult Swim so that probably explains most of it but I don't know what it was. I remember nothing else about it except for a scene with a drum player... this was between 2008 - 2010 I think? My memory is unfortunately very hazy.
