I actually enjoyed the Splinter episode. The ending joke was painfully unfunny, though that's been said before.

I think that he needs to stop claiming that modern SpongeBob episodes are atrocities. The sad truth is that a bad SpongeBob episode is usually better than a lot of other show's best episodes. I think that the problem is that because he likes SpongeBob he sets the bar for every episode pretty high. When the episode fails to meet his expectations he hates it more than he should because of that.
I think he hates most modern episodes of SB because of the most common reason people hate new things: nostalgia.

I've begun to despise the term "mean-spirited" because of how much Enter and his bots use it. The same thing happened with "close-minded" and the furries.

He just reused his old review for his footage. You can see the captions he put in at certain points.

Also he said something at around the 3:57 mark that implies he thinks people with self-harm problems are idiots. Wow, real freaking classy of you, Mr. Enter.
Didn't you want to turn Tumblrinas against him?
Here's your chance

So, is there a reason why he remade this if he was only going to sound more like a dick? I understand if you just want to remove the names of the writers and focus more on the inherent problems. But for some reason, this just sounds more spergy than the first attempt. And as gross as The Splinter is, it's a million times better than anything Enter could make.

Also, the "Mars Needs Moms" shit has got to stop, it's getting annoying and I doubt that anyone besides the really obsessed ones gives a damn anymore.

I'm right on it. But I'll need some help formatting. I'm not used to Tumblr. Also, what should I tag it with? For maximum visibility.

"The Splinter" just felt like a filler episode to me. It's not overly disgusting, but it's not overly boring either. It's just kind of there. (Also yeah, the fuck was up with that self-harm comment? Not one of Enter's better moments.)

Does this really warrant a review? Aside from the cartoonish splinter, the episode is boring as hell. Enter is ridiculous.

Wow, he just does not know how to improve. He still did the same old thing, treat a cartoon like a serious piece of writing. All he improved on was not being overly disgusted.

I think taking a serious look at writing and animation can be a good thing. A good example would be, why are the Loony Toons still such beloved characters decades after their creation? You could make a good discussion out of that.

Enter's problem is that he refuses to be objective. He can't seem to fathom the idea that some children - and even some adults - actually like gross humor and find it funny. I used to watch a guy on YouTube who reviewed webcomics. One of the comics he reviewed, on request, was Angel Corps., a comic about killing and raping female secret agents. Guro, basically. He said that while he found subject matter utterly disgusting, the artwork was superb and if this is your kink Angel Corps. does it very well.

I've watched a lot of Enter's reviews and I can't recall him ever admitting a cartoon he disliked had merit. Even in The Splinter he called the animation sloppy. It might have helped if he showed some examples (characters being off-model, color errors, something...), but it looked like typical Spongebob to me. You can't have a review without analysis and this review was devoid. It's just Enter whining for 7 minutes about how gross he thinks it is.

Not only does he loop episode footage over and over for no reason, but he reuses old footage? Wow. If he was doing a commentary, I would understand, but this is just stupid.

To be fair to Enter, he at least tries to improve. The problem is more him failing to improve on EVERYTHING.
