How about we don't pick and choose special snowflake genders. And if you don't have gender diaspora, to sit the fuck down and shut up.
It's like these kids have lived on the Internet for so long they forgot about the existence of physical reality.

I wouldn't have a problem with any of that in theory if people didn't use this gender experimentation to scramble up the Tumblr social ladder and harass people who slip up on pronouns once ever.
Which, you know, happens a lot.

I suppose it was too much for me to hope that they'd leave my childhood out of their retarded "headcanons".
The dumbest thing about this is that the Harry Potter series was already good at being both diverse and not giving a fuck about it. Black people have Dean Thomas and Kingsley Shacklebolt, and depending on how hard you factor in the movies and which one you see, Lavender Brown was represented as Black too. Indians had the Patil twins (which considering how rare it is to find someone who does this shit with South Asians, kind of lulzy), if you go with stereotypes, I swear there was a Goldstein in Ravenclaw with Goldstein being a very common stereotypical surname for a Jewish person. Cho Chang is of course of East Asian stock and let's not forget about Headmaster Dumbledore and his fondness for men...
Yeah, you really need to have some extra dumb headcanon to make a more diverse cast with a cast like that.

There is some great stuff that has taught me to laugh at this kind of bad art and tips to improve, but they do have their annoying SJW moments like when they got mad at Macho Women With Guns.I stumbled across this old post on eschergirls, a blog that criticises unrealistic and sexualised art of women. (The blog itself pings my SJW radar, but seeing how Tumblr is Tumblr I honestly can't tell what is real anymore)

I see this post a lot and while the first two users make very good points, ol' tumblrina has to chime in with the HOW VERY DARE YOU
While some aspects of what tumblr call "self-care" can help, it's only in the very short run. People with more life altering mental illnesses find that it does not work for them and sometimes makes things worse. What the second person said is actually good advice, being productive with your life does help, but getting proper medical help is the best solution. Literally comparing apples to oranges, well done tumblr. Metal Gear, for its (sometimes surprisingly poignant discussions on war) has always been faintly ridiculous. Plus, the nanomachine line makes sense in context, Vader doing a shitty dance routine to a Star Wars themed remix does not
Mental illnesses are great if your tumblrite, you can fake the symptoms and get all the fake internet love you need to validate yourself! Also, you should never seek help for your obvious mental health problems, because that's just giving in to the patriarchy and their 'science'
These people are the worst thing on tumblr in my opinion. They are either actively supporting the idea of the mentally ill going untreated, or worse are faking mental illness to fit into the hug box and making seeking treatment harder than it already is by devaluing the experiences of the actually mentally ill
