This is what drives artists to just not bother making art of any darker colored characters. Half a shade off and they will feed you to the wolves no matter how muted the rest of the colors in the picture also are. People are already eating Japanese artists alive with this shit over on twitter as well.
Thankfully there ARE some sane people out there. But they're probably drowned out by the outrage cultists.

the creator of the comic ended up pussying out and reposted it with edited slang and a darker skinned Nessa, despite the great majority of his fanbase going "dude what the fuck don't change it it's fine". It honestly made me lose a lot of respect for him. I just hope he realizes that now that he's bent the knee to these dumbfucks once, they'll never be happy with anything he makes and always find reasons for him to change it.
