Because thinking original ideas and stories is way too hard for tumblrinas. Notice how only SJWs/tumblrites are the only people behind hollywood producers who support all these mediocre remakes that we're bombarded with. Something something because of "woke", "needs to change all the white people", etc etc.

Notice how they never really like original, artsie or independent movies unless they cater to their identity politics- muh lesbians, muh POCs...etc.

Don’t forget if they find something like conflict or anything even slightly problematic in a movie for them, it’s a bad movie. Ignore how it’s actually targeted towards them or the actual quality, it’s for shitlords.
I remember those nice posts on Tumblr where instead of whining there aren’t any movies/books for LGBT people, people would share things they’ve found. Whatever happened to those?

They're still around, iirc, but they're mostly found/focused on book rec/writing advice blogs now. You won't find them on the average tumblrina site.
