Agreed. The problem is most people don't do their research and would automatically assume Islam is a racial identity because the only Muslims you see in the news media are from the Middle East and North Africa.

The North Africans are really the only group of Muslims you could really classify as POC, most Muslims are from areas of the Middle East that historically were considered part of European empires. Here's some Syrian refugees for example.
