More specifically, they think that history's etymology is "his story." But the etymology is "historia" from Greek and Latin, which is functionally the same as what we say when talking about history, as in just the events of the past. And, in both Greek and Latin, it is grammatically feminine, so it declines like female-related nouns.

I don't like this pressure to get surgery tumblr is putting people under, it's going to result in a lot of regrets down the line. I'm not American, but I assume SRS is covered under Obamacare and that's why there is a rush for people to get it?

Technically it doesn't require health providers to cover SRS but it's made some headway for transgender surgery that would make it more difficult to obtain if it wasn't there.

Obamacare has nothing to do with that, and it's still up to individual healthcare providers, and insurance is regulated on a state by state basis. If there's a provider in your market who covers it, sure, but that existed before the ACA and would continue to exist without it. For that matter, a person could specifically avoid a provider that covers it to avoid their premiums going up to cover a surge of tumblr troons who simultaneously claim SRS should be covered by insurance while saying gender dysphoria doesn't even exist.
