People on Tumblr going out of their way to argue that works containing stories with sexual content about children should not be banned or regulated in any way on AO3 because doing so might lead to their other disgusting fetish material being banned.
I never really gave much thought about AO3 until I saw people discussing how there are fics including sexual content about children and rape fics including children on the site, and then I saw all these people come out and say that content should not be regulated in any way. Even if it had nothing to do with this Tiffany person they still don’t think that type of content should be banned.
They try to spin it as some sort of lgbtq issue or say that people write and read these types of fics to cope. They’re pretending that the stuff written on AO3 is anything of than fetish material to get off to.
Also them saying the site only has X amount of fics doesn’t make it ok. That’s X amount too many, and if they think it’s such a small number then why should it be a problem for them if those are banned.

You have to remember, gender dysphoria is a (rather severe) mental disorder. Some evidence suggests it's due to their mom having a hormonal imbalance or abusing substances while pregnant. There's no known permanent cure, HRT is the only thing that seems to help, and even then, it only helps half of the troons, for a variety of reasons, mostly being too mentally weak to realize some people base referring to others on sex instead of (attempted) appearance.
Female puberty can be one of the most terrifying experiences in a dysphoric FtM's life, as can male puberty for MtFs. Whereas, for most people without it, it really wasn't shitty at all.
Ultimately though, most Tumblr users are some creed of insane. And most troons on there don't even have GD, getting HRT from the black market if at all, regretting it, then detrooning into an equally insane radical feminist or ally (making them look bad), or 41%ing.

That's very interesting, unfortunately some do not start off physiologically normally and get heavily medicated until it's discovered said medication isn't doing jack shit for that particular problem.
