I hate to bring up the whole Zamii070 drama again, but Tumblr has been engaged in a mass sperg-out over it. It started when the people behind Steven Universe caught wind of the whole mess, and once again told their fans to stop being terrible.
The fans didn't take well to the writers pointing out that they're losers and terrible people, and telling them to stop bullying people.
Hahaha, a userbase so eager to call people out can't take a single criticism. I guess Steven Universe is now off the tumblr approved shows.
Fuck anyone one who uses "representation matters" or "think of the children" to justify this bullshit.

Yes, you're the victim here. The people who work on SU had to tell you guys to stop acting like jackasses because a girl tried to kill herself due to guys acting horrible and you make it all about you. Asshole.
What a drama queen. I highly doubt that's actually gonna happen. I mean, I'm not gonna say that whitewashed fanart and drawing bigger characters to be thinner has never happened but I have never seen a white or very light skinned Garnet or an anorexic Rose or Amethyst that wasn't done just to troll on the oversensitive fanbase. And Zamii's "skinny" Rose wasn't even that skinny.

It's both sad and impressive that most of us can recognize which Tumblrcow made which post just by glancing at it. Some people say that Tumblrcows are all the same, but they're all actually uniquely terrible in subtle ways.

Honestly the thing that killed me was the SU staff member that said Tumblr used to be how she worked but then she went and got a job and realized that it isn't. Someone who was once like them, someone who "made it" spoke to them and they hated her for it.
