Speaking of Lion King, I remember proto SJWs back in the day bitched that the movie was racist because the Shenzi and and Banzai were voiced by Whoopi Goldberg and Chech Marin (a African American and a Latino) and using minorities to voice bad guys was racist. However, this logic completely ignored the fact that 1)Scar, the main villain, was voiced by Jeremy Irons (a white guy) 2)Mufasa, the big good, was voiced by James Earl Jones (a black guy) 3)Ed, the other hyena henchmen whose also the dumbest of all three, was voiced by Jim Cummings (who I believe is white). So that complaint doesn’t make any sense.

Scar seemed a bit effeminate to me but he never came off as someone who was supposed to be to be gay, at least to me. If anything, he came off as more of a stuffy British gentleman to me. I think effeminate villains actually do have a lengthy history in media, which is most likely tied to homophobia but overall, Tumblr overeacts to it.

TheMightyMonarch, you SILLY BITCH! There's no such thing as "British coding" in villains! Villains in fiction are never, can never, and will never be vaguely (or even extremely) British. Why would that even be a thing?! Surely the imperialist patriarchy would have caught that!
