When SJWs claim any villainous, greedy character is automatically an anti-Semitic stereotype, what they're really saying is a greedy, villainous character literally couldn't possibly be anything but a Jew. Says more about them really. Sort of like instantly assuming any monkey is an anti-black stereotype. Interesting it's YOU who instantly think of a black person when you see a monkey.

If anything, the bad implications there are that they are letting non-wizards suffer from things when they can cure it.
I agree with the Miku thing being dumb as hell though. Either stop pouring money into HP stuff if that's how you feel or try to divorce the books from the things you dislike about their author. You can't just pretend the money's going to an anime girl because the truth hurts your feelings. I think they want to be able to keep buying Harry Potter stuff without having to think about their money going to a person they don't like, it's such lazy "activism", it doesn't even come close to being activism.

Autism incoming:
Seamus’ father isn’t absent, he’s a muggle. The only two times we see his mother are at a wizarding event and at Hogwarts, neither of which he could show up at if he wanted to, and the one time his family is even mentioned plot wise it’s as part of a debate over wizarding politics he wouldn’t know shit about. Also Seamus blowing shit up is only a running gag in the films, it happens exactly once in the books.
Dean (who has a stepfather he considers his dad) got most of his subplot cut in the early stages for being too similar to Neville’s, the reason he has an absentee father is the dad bailed to let mom and baby Dean blend back into the muggle world and not be death eater targets (and I think the only reason this even gets referenced briefly in DH is as a shout-out to fans who knew this)
The books are from Harry’s POV, of course his internal monologue is gonna mock his abusive uncle and bullying cousin for being fat pieces of shit (plus Dudley being so fat plays into what Dumbledore says in book 6 about them fucking him up worse than Harry)
The character Goldstein is mentioned like 5 times and I don’t think he even has a line. He certainly isn’t mentioned walking around Hogwarts looking for scheckels or anything
Yes, Snape, the kid from a working class slum in northern England, is clearly meant to be Jewish
The black actress who played lavender was just a credited extra who wasn’t named and didn’t have any lines. The only time her race is mentioned in the books is when she’s making out with Ron and Harry can’t tell whose arms are whose (either she’s white or the Weasleys are all black gingers, which would admittedly be kinda badass). Luna’s actress joined the cast as a major character, and was the only major kid actress cast late enough to have grown up as a fan, of course she and Rowling were gonna bond
Goblet of Fire was written in fucking 2000, trans-coded wasn’t a thing anybody thought about
I’ll admit the SPEW arc coulda been a bit better handled, but it’s basically the story of a privileged white girl barging in and claiming she knows what’s best for minorities and refuses to listen to them when they tell her to stop speaking for her (note that none of the good guys actually disagree with her, they just think she’s going about it wrong). No wonder tumblr hates that subplot.
If I think of anything else I’ll edit this spergery. Bring on the puzzle pieces, bitches

And yet the extent being Irish plays into his character is...he supports Ireland in the World Cup. Which is more than cho being Asian changes her character.
